Our aware winning Quantum-Dot OLED display – now with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, the new Alienware AW3423DWF 34-inch QD-OLED Gaming Monitor comes with improved OLED reliability, an extensive cinema-grade color coverage of 99.3% DCI-P3 across a wide viewing angle, and colors are accurate out of the box with a factory calibration of Delta E<2. Combined with 1000 nits peak brightness, infinite contrast ratio and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certification, you can expect incredibly realistic visuals for unforgettably immersive gaming experiences. With TUV-certified ComfortView Plus, you can game longer, thanks to an always on, built-in low-blue light screen technology that reduces blue light emissions without impacting color accuracy. Additionally, with the industry’s fastest 0.1ms GtG (Gray to Gray) response time and up 165Hz (native) high refresh rate, you’ll experience smooth gameplay and view fast-moving graphics with incredible clarity for a fast in-game reaction time.
INFINITELY IMMERSIVE: Quantum Dot Display Technology enables a slim panel design and delivers a superior color performance with a higher peak luminance and greater color gamut range vs WOLED (White OLED) by taking the impressive qualities of OLED (such as true blacks & infinite contrast ratio) and enhances color performance by directly converting blue light into the primary colors of red and green through a Quantum Dot pixel layer.
STUTTER-FREE SPEED: Experience ultra-low latency gameplay, support for HDR and cinematic color, plus smooth, tear-free gaming thanks to AMD FreeSync Premium Pro Technology and VESA AdaptiveSync Display certification.
IMPECCABLE DESIGN: The jaw-dropping new design features a sleek QD-OLED curved 1800R panel integrated into the iconic new Legend 2.0 ID, plus customizable RGB AlienFX lighting, 360° ventilation for better heat dissipation, improved cable management and a new centralized OSD 5-Axis joystick to make adjusting your settings easier. The height adjustable stand with height markers and the tilt, swivel, and slant capabilities allow for easy viewing adjustment.
FOR CRITICAL CREATING: For content creators and game developers who require precise color-critical work, the new Creator Mode feature was designed for you. This OSD menu option allows you the flexibility to choose between the native (DCI-P3) and the sRGB color space, depending on your work needs, and the ability to adjust the gamma settings.
QUALITY ASSURANCE GUARANTEED: The new Alienware 34 Curved QD-OLED Gaming Monitor comes with improved OLED reliability and a 3-year premium warranty, including coverage for OLED burn-in, for additional peace of mind.

    Best monitor I’ve ever owned
I rolled with dual Dell 27″ IPS monitors for about 5-6 years, and I loved them. My young daughter spilled milk in one of those monitors, so it was time for a new setup. I decided to upgrade to the 32-34″ range to pair with my other 27″. I did a ton of research, and wanted to keep it below $400, so I bought the Asus VG3A series, a VA panel. While the screen real estate and high refresh rates were great, the panel and color reproduction were very much “meh” compared to even my older IPS panels. It just felt “hollow”. Not to mention I plug my speaker system into my monitors because I often switch PC’s between work and personal, and the audio out connection had a ton of feedback.I decided to just try an OLED monitor to see what the difference would be, and even though the Alienware is significantly more expensive, I simply can’t go back. The colors, clarity, settings, construction and connectivity are incredible.Attached are images compared to my high-end laptop screen and 27″ IPS. The contrast, colors, and clarity are just amazing. I am a software developer (not a gamer), so the deep blacks and color accuracy make working in editors extremely pleasant. If there was one complaint, the text isn’t quite as sharp as I would like (mainly dark text on light backgrounds) due to a side effect of OLED technology, but you get used to it. I also tempted my fate by ordering “Used – Acceptable” from Amazon to save several hundred dollars, and to be honest it appears to be completely unused. All original packaging items were present, and the screen/panel didn’t even have a single fingerprint. All in all, it seems that I prefer Dell monitors, and this Alienware does not disappoint. Even though I paid several hundred dollars more than I wanted, you get what you pay for. And if your livelihood is staring at monitors for 6-8 hours a day like me, it’s completely worth it.

Works well with Amazon Basic monitor arm.
My LG IPS ultra wide started having trouble turning on after 6 years of use, so I purchased this since it was the most recommended one on RTINGS.com. And it was an alright upgrade for me. Image is definitely clearer, less motion blurs while gaming, and more accurate color out-of-box, thou it still has noticeable blue tint. The down sides are that you have to do the pixel refresh thingy after every a few hours of use to avoid burn ins, which you will get used to, and the fact that you could get similar or better spec monitor with VA or IPS panel at less than half the price. Is it the best of the best? And does it justify the double price tag? Meh… it doesn’t feel that way. But it is certainly nice. What I appreciate the most is how it doesn’t get burningly hot like my old monitor did.

    Amazing
Probably one of the best pc monitors I have ever seen and definitely the best I have ever had. Only annoying thing is the pixel refresh every 4 hours but other than that it’s an amazing monitor.

    Truly wonderful monitor.
In short. If you require a monitor that shows as close to true colour as possible, this is the one for you.The colour rendition is second to none. As a photographer, I’m now wondering why I didn’t purchase this monitor when it first came out. Most importantly, true black is true black, and the colours are true to life. There is only one “Con.” You really need to run the “Pixal Refresh” every 4 hours. (You get an on-screen warning) It takes 6 minutes, but you can also set it to run when the screen goes into sleep mode. This ensures that the monitor stays healthy.

    Best monitor ever
I was a little nervous reading the reviews about the monitor arriving scratched etc and my monitor box did have some damage on the corners. Not a fan of the bubble wrap they put on the screen but when I took it off there was zero damage so I was relieved. This monitor next to my old IPS monitor and it makes my old high end IPS monitor look like crap. I’m definitely sold on OLED even if they don’t last quite as long as other panel types.

    Very fuzzy text
I was very excited to receive this monitor as I always wanted an OLED monitor. Movies and videos look great on it. But to use it as a computer monitor, it’s terrible. All text bleeds regards of font size and almost looks blurry. I also have a 4K LG OLED tv and an Apple studio display monitor and the text is very sharp and crisp on both of those. Recently I purchased a Mac Mini and was hoping it would look better on that OS but it looks just as bad as on my PC. I’m sure this monitor is fine for gaming or movies but do not purchase if you work with text a lot. It’s terrible for that. I wish I could return it but I’m past the return window.

    Pretty sure it was used
I will start by saying that the monitor works and doesn’t have any issues. Picture quality is great and it’s perfect for gaming. That being said, I am pretty sure this monitor was a return and Amazon then resold it as ‘new’. The box had obviously been opened prior to getting to me and also been put together prior to me getting it. The stand had scratches where it connects with the monitor which is not something any brand monitor I have ever purchased has had.Be wary that the monitor you bought as ‘new’ may in fact be a return. The monitor works, but seriously do better Amazon. Marking a return as new is not cool.

    Amazing display
5/5. If you’re on the fence, this monitor is worth it. Not only it has great colors and quality but also has a 3 year warranty that covers OLED burn in. Yes, it’s not 240hz like the LG and Asus, but let’s be real, y most people’s PC are not going to pull 240hz at 3440x1440p.

The Alienware AW3423DWF Curved Monitor is, without a doubt, one of the best gaming monitors I’ve ever owned. From the moment I set it up, I could tell this was going to be a game-changer. It boasts a 34-inch QD-OLED display that brings a level of depth and color accuracy that’s nothing short of spectacular. Whether I’m playing fast-paced action games or exploring visually rich open-world environments, this monitor delivers an immersive experience like no other.Design and Build QualityThe design is sleek and modern, in line with Alienware’s signature style. The monitor’s ultra-thin bezels make it a perfect fit for a multi-monitor setup, though the display itself is so wide that I don’t feel the need for a second screen. The 1800R curvature provides an excellent balance between immersion and comfort, drawing me into the action without overwhelming my field of vision. It’s easy to adjust the height, tilt, and swivel, so I was able to find the perfect viewing angle quickly. The build quality feels solid and premium, as expected from Alienware.Display and PerformanceNow onto the heart of the matter—the display. The 3440x1440p QD-OLED panel offers exceptional clarity, making even the smallest details in games or movies stand out. Colors are vivid and vibrant, and the blacks are truly deep, which is where this monitor really shines compared to traditional LED displays. The HDR performance is stunning, creating a dynamic contrast that enhances every scene. What really impressed me was the 165Hz refresh rate combined with Adaptive Sync. The gaming experience is buttery smooth with no screen tearing or ghosting, even in high-motion games like Call of Duty and Cyberpunk 2077. The 0.1ms response time makes a noticeable difference in fast-paced shooters, providing a competitive edge. Additionally, the 1000-nit peak brightness for HDR content makes it perfect for both dark and brightly lit rooms, making every in-game moment look as realistic as possible.Connectivity and FeaturesThe Alienware Command Center makes it easy to tweak settings to your liking. I was able to fine-tune the color accuracy and customize the lighting settings with ease. It also comes with multiple connectivity options, including two HDMI ports, DisplayPort, and a USB hub, ensuring I can plug in all my peripherals without a hitch. One of my favorite features is the AlienFX lighting—it’s customizable and adds a nice touch to my gaming setup. While it’s not necessary for performance, it certainly enhances the overall aesthetics, especially during late-night gaming sessions. The on-screen display (OSD) is intuitive and offers plenty of customization, whether I’m adjusting brightness, contrast, or enabling game-specific presets.Final ThoughtsIn summary, the Alienware AW3423DWF is an absolute powerhouse for gaming and productivity alike. The combination of the ultra-wide curved display, QD-OLED technology, and high refresh rate creates a gaming experience that is both visually stunning and incredibly responsive. Alienware has truly delivered with this monitor, and I can confidently say it’s well worth the investment for serious gamers or anyone who wants the best in visual performance. If you’re looking for a monitor that can handle anything you throw at it—whether it’s competitive gaming, content creation, or just enjoying cinematic visuals—this is the one to get. Absolutely incredible and worth every penny!

Product has a poor screen coating that is prone to damage and scatches. Monitor image quailty is good with high refresh rate.

I’m absolutely delighted with this monitor. The image quality, black levels, color, response time and Gsync are perfect. Games absolutely explode off the screen in the dark, making a window into the game world for total immersion. In recent years I have gotten bored with ‘flat gaming’ and prefer VR. This monitor rekindled my love of flat games and has made me revisit old favorites, start backlog games.. I am blown away by it.It wakes and sleeps perfectly, it doesn’t have any weird quirks. It just disappears into my desk and is the absolute perfect monitor for games and work.

Pretty good monitor, but the quality control issues are pathetic. I got a model with the “newer” packaging (aug 2024 manufacturing date) and it came with a flimsy piece of plastic over the screen opposed to an actual screen protector most other companies use. This caused the unit to arrive with scratches on it. Unacceptable for a monitor of this price.Contacted Dell customer support and was told warranty does not cover this despite other Amazon customers having much difference experiences.Terrible QC, terrible support, will never buy another alienware product. At least they make it easy to put back in the box so you can get rid of it. I bought an asus oled as a replacement and it came flawless with zero scratches.
