Easy to install and looks great!
I’ve purchased Anker products before and I find that they are very reliable and perform well. This is exactly what I was looking for to have an easier access to my usb ports. I have a 2019 iMac. Now I don’t have to turn my computer around to plug in a flash drive or a usb cable.

Its wonderful and functional.
I knew it when I saw this from Anker, I would love it. It fitted so perfectly Anne gave me so much ease to plug and unplug my devices. It looked integrated with my iMac and I think it should. Anker did a great job with this product. Don’t waste time and energy searching for something else. This is the one.

perfect
This USB hub looks great on my 2020 27″ iMac and mounts easily and securely. It’s nice having these connectors on the front now. And being able to insert a micro SD card without an adapter is a plus.Another great Anker product!

Barely fits the monitor that I use it for…
But the clamp is on there at MAXIMUM setting, works with multiple ports at the same time, high quality build, no connection issues, and with a white or silver monitor it blends in well (Design wise).

Just the right hub for my 24″ M1 iMac
I have always been fond of Anker products. I’ve always found them attractive â and, most importantly, they perform flawlessly. Even though I have just now installed the new Anker 535 USB-C Hub for my M1 iMac, I can already tell this device will not disappoint. The installation was so simple â turn the wheel on the rear of the device to open the clamp, ease it onto the front of the iMac, and turn the wheel back to tighten it. All that is left is to plug the attached USB-C cable into a Thunderbolt port on the back of the iMac.I have already performed backups to three external drives. The process was quick and flawless.Suggestions:1) Place the hub about 2 – 3 inches from the right side of the computer. The iMac speakers are located on the bottom corners of the iMac. I don’t think this really matters since the speakers are inside the computer and deliver the sound all across the lower vents. Still, it makes me feel better not to place the hub directly over the speaker location.2) Plug the cable into a Thunderbolt port (one of the first two). Again, this may simply be my own preference â but I would think the Thunderbolt ports deliver more power than the simple USB-C ports (the last two ports on most iMac models.)This hub delivers a full 10 Gbps â while most of its competitors only provide 5 Gbps ports. It is also just more attractive, IMHO, than the others. There is only one caveat. The hub only comes in silver â while one of its competitors supplies face plate inserts for the various colors of the M1 iMac. While this may be pleasing in some respects, the actual result is less than attractive â again IMHO. It helps that my iMac is the blue version which blends nicely with the hub.

Easy to install, plug and play
I got sick of digging around in the back of my 27″ iMac for a plug-in area for thumb drives or whatever. This was an easy solution. Note that it is not meant for heavy-power-usage devices like a CD/DVD burner. Those must be plugged into the computer. Simple to mount. The unit has small metal flat prongs that tuck into the air slots along the bottom of the monitor. A round disc on the back is tightened while you hold it in place, then stays securely mounted on the monitor. You can slide the device it to the left or right a bit, even though the cord is intentionally short. The cord is USB-C on both ends. I’ve always had good luck with Anker products. Super easy.

SD Card size limit, silver color doesn’t match iMac M3-otherwise a good hub from a respected brand
I tried 3 other hubs for my M3 (4 port) iMac-each of which had issues. I wanted just a couple of ports (usb c and a) as well as a good card reader, so I bought the 535. I never intended to attach it to the front of the M3-the silver color does not match the M3, and I didn’t want the cables hanging off the front of the iMac. Instead I attached the hub backwards on the side of the stand just to keep it in place. The cord reaches nicely into one of the Thunderbolt ports and is not unsightly. Since I don’t plan on changing cables and peripherals that often the rear entry is not a problem for me. I do plan on using the card reader necessitated by my digital cameras, but I am used to inserting the SD card in the rear as I had a 2012 iMac for 11 years. Beware that after seeing my 64GB card unmount several times, after calling Anker customer service, I surprisingly learned that the 535 card reader has a maximum size limit of 32GB (HC).?. Disappointed but not deterred, I decided to keep the hub and just buy the 32GB cards as they are cheap. So far so good.
