    Read this before buying
This Anker USB-C hub is designed well. This is perfect for my on-the-go WFH setup. I am currently using this to hold my external monitor when using my work laptop or iPad Pro. I love that this is a hub integrated into an iPad stand. Hinges are solid, this thing is not budging without some force. The charging DOES work. You will need a power supply that provides 45W minimum because the hub requires power as well as the device that’s connected. So here is the problem I have noticed. There seems to be a good bit of complaints about the charging not working. If you have attempted by using the required power, the problem is the provided cable. I figured this out when I switched to a Thunderbolt 3 cable that I had. Everything worked, including the charging. This leads me to believe the provided cable is defective, also because this cable does not seem to be sold separately. If the cable worked, I would have given this 5 stars. For the time being, I will leave it at 3 stars. Reason being is the price. For $100, the cable provided should work. Anker has been contacted. I will update this review once they resolve this issue.Update: It was determined that the cable was the cause. Anker sent a replacement cable with no problems and it worked. I am still using this hub stand for external monitors with no issues. Because Anker worked with me on this and the product works 100%, I now give it 5 stars. So if you have an issue with charging, it is the cable. Hopefully this gets corrected.

    Really good iPad Stand
Pretty good stand, got this on Sale during Black Friday but the normal price might just be worth it. Build is pretty nice and compact and slick with the iPad protector to avoid scratches. Everything works fine, just make sure u have “good ear/headphones” trust me the cheap ones might sound off when u plug it into the head phone Jack but it’s not the stands fault for connecting the cheap headphones, both USB(3.0) work fine and same goes for the SD card slots, it’s great that two SD cards can be reas unlike any other stand/USB-C hubs that say you can’t use both at the same time, HDMI cable should work with any good one too. Just waiting for the other accessories for my iPad to use this as “intended” with the iPad being on the stand and a Magic Keyboard that isn’t the iPad case. This should work fine with any iPad that have a USB-C port, no this probably won’t work with any older iPad with the lightning connector (iPad 9 for example) but it might work with a adapter of some sorts. iPad 10, iPad Pro 12.9-in. (3rd Generation or newer), iPad Pro 11 in. (All models), iPad Air (4th Generation and newer), iPad Mini 6 (and newer* (if there is a new iPad mini as there isn’t one now as I’m writing this review))* should all work with this stand. Note: Only M series(aka. Apple Mac chips) on the iPads have External Monitor support that being the iPad Pros(11-in.(3rd generation and newer) And 12.9-in.(5th generation and newer) the iPad Air 5(and newer). But either way the files app should detect those two USB-A ports regardless of it being 2.0 flash drive and same with the SD card two SD cards can be found, another thing to know if two are there the same on the micro SD-Card might be named Untitled but it still has everything but won’t be forced renamed on other devices like a PC or Mac. Used for my only iPad Air 5 I have btw.(Important note to use External Monitor support: you need at least either a mouse or keyboard to activate it as you’re recommended using both a mouse and keyboard but using a USB mouse can allow you to use it with out a keyboard but the problem is you can’t type as iPadOS 16 thinks you have a keyboard already and same goes for if you use a keyboard and no mouse, iPadOS 16 thinks you have a mouse already and you most likely cannot move on your second screen if it’s not touch screen(haven’t tried this theory yet) but any Bluetooth keyboard and mouse should work fine or wired with the USB ports).

Works great with my tab s7!
I bought this hub/stand for its portability, function and compatibility. As a stand it folds flat. The joints are very strong and there’s plenty of weight in the base so it won’t tip over. My s7 has a spigen case and fits the stand with no problem. My samsung s7 tablet has dex and this hub is compatible with it.My set up is simple and inexpensive. I bought this hub on black Friday so that was great.Connecting the mouse via port, and a flash drive – easy.If you are using a hub for the first time know that you have to have a power source. Either in a wall socket or into a power bank. I have a Belkin 20,000 mAh connected with a generic usb-c / usb-a cord.It all works seemlessly.Very happy with my purchase!

    Works great!
This product was easy to use with my iPad and I was able to connect to my external monitor with no issues. The stand itself was very sturdy, especially considering I would use it daily to notate drawings. I never had any problems with it feeling like it would tip over. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is because almost a year to the date; it just suddenly stopped working. That being said, I reached out to ANKER SUPPORT and they were awesome! They sent a shipping label so I could send back the broken one and then they sent me a new one. I would definitely recommend this product and any ANKER product.

    Works very well and adjustable
This was purchased when I purchased the Ipod that now rests on it. I enjoy the adjustability options and the ease of use.

This does everything I was hoping it would do. Works great, especially the HDMI port. It is a solid product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great dock for their iPad. I am using it with my iPad Air Gen 6, and it works flawlessly. I also recommend you pick up a 65w charger with it. Sadly it does not come with one.

I purchased the Anker 551 8-in-1 USB C Hub to improve efficiencies with my online business (iPad) and my day job on a Microsoft Surface Pro.The foldable tablet stand is a convenient addition, making it a versatile solution for both devices. The design keeps my desk free of wires and I can switch devices in an instant, whilst still using the same monitor, keyboard, mouse etcThe product is very solid and heavy (in a good way) and feels worth the money. I paid £59.99 but to be honest, after owning one, it is worth the usual £99.99 price-tag.Highly recommended for multi-device users!

I love this stand/hub. It works perfectly for Samsung Dex, I just plug HDMI into the hub and it works every time. Also I can use my mouse with the dongle it comes with, which makes for less delay time.Pass through charging also works like a charm. The only thing I had to figure out is how to use SD cards, as it didn’t pick them up automatically. I just had to change a setting in USB Developer options and it worked as well. The only downside is that on the base it seems to have two small dents which were there when I took it out of the box. Probably the stand banging on the base while on transport. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this hub, even though it is pricey. It makes my tab 10x more useful, if it wasn’t already

Product is good, holds the iPad securely, and it charges an iPad Air 5th generation with a common 65W power supply. No issues so far.Next I’ll connect an audio interface known to work with iPads and will edit the post accordingly.
