Great mounting system and works perfectly with MagSafe case and iPhone 15 Pro
The Anker has a nice latching mechanism that connects around a horizontal vent fin. I am cautious though to tighten it too much, for fear it may break the fin — but it doesn’t need to be. It holds very firm with minimal pressure, has not “backed out” (causing it to be loose) and the phone snaps right into place and charges away in my Dodge Challenger. So far there has been no problem at all and because there’s no usb connector on the business end, nothing to fall out. Nice work Anker.

Worked good for one day
Noticed reviews saying it doesn’t charge fast or not at all. I didn’t use the car adapter this package came with, used a slightly faster 32w anker adapter I already owned instead and my iPhone 13 went up 10% after driving 15 minutes so I can’t complain…Edit: Well this is interesting, on 2nd day of use it is not charging at all. So I give it two stars for at least holding it in place but probably deserves one star overall… ymmv on this thingFinal edit: Now it is mysteriously working again after not working at all. So back to 5 star rating for now lol

Upgraded to the latest iPhone after 4 years on an SE but have always regarded charging and power delivery a core component in keeping devices’ batteries healthy for as long as possible. For this I’ve always turned to Anker. For wall chargers, car charger as well as power banks and definitely cables – I find Anker to be an excellent alternative to OEM given iPhones no longer come with a charger.Now having a phone with fast wireless charging and MagSafe I opted to buy this Anker car MagSafe compatible Qi2 charger; and it’s great. It is well made with high quality materials as expected of the brand and it holds my phone securely – I’m trusting this not to produce an expensive repair bill after all.Installation was quick and the adapter latched onto and tightened up to the vent easily. Sometimes I wonder if I can just keep tightening it and break my vent … so I just tightened carefully until the adapter was securely held in place.For the holder itself for the phone, again the magnetic hold appears great, having driven over humps and bumps. Not hit any potholes yet so not sure how it was fair in that situation.Cable length seems good though I don’t need to travel far to the socket so there’s a lot of cable to managed away but I’ve managed to tuck it aside out the way. Charger itself has a nice blue light to show there’s power and securely holds the usb c plugs.Only downside I think is that no matter how much I tighten the ball joint connection between the vent adapter and adjustable charger pad I find over time I’d have to adjust the position slightly but not by much. The vibrations and occasion knock by my hand between shifts might have a part to play in this though.All in all a great product at a great price by Anker.
