    Taking a chance here.
Taking a chance here. Unit arrived well packaged and includes a plethora of cables. The main power supply and PCI are hardwired to the unit and the rest are modular in nature. They do include a line that has MOLEX and plenty of SATA. I used this PS in a new Apevia Guardian Pro case for a AMD ATX AM4 board. The main power cable is a bit “short” and getting it attached was tricky. Everything else was fine. For now I give it a 5 star rating based on price, performance, and value. I cannot speak about longevity though. I owned a Apevia PS a long time ago and it was of poor quality and died within a year. Hopefully these are better built units. Time will tell.

    Nice power supply
Plenty of cables. Gold rated. RGB looks good (doesn’t distract from the case and the inside RGB) and has an easy to use button to change the color. Great price. No noticeable noise. Happy with the choice.

It works and hasn’t failed me yet!
All in all it is a sold PSU. It was easy to install and looks great. It fit my HFlow 9 case perfectly and it is really quiet. It provides enough power to run my system which include an rtx 4060 and AMD 8 core processor. (Sorry I can’t recall the specific CPU.) However I do think I probably should have aimed a little higher on my power cap but that is not this companies fault.Quality is pretty great however I docked 1 star for 2 reasons.1 when installing I had to break off the retention clip on one of my psu cables in order to plug it in. The cut out of the plate could have been made to accommodate the retention clip but to me this was a silly thing that was overlooked when they designed it. 2nd the RGB fan is cool and it does put off some nice colors however the inability to turn off the RGB without shutting down the system is annoying. There is a button on the psu for changing the patterns. Maybe if I hold it down long enough the lights will turn off but either way… it wasn’t immediately obvious and I’m picky. It’s still a great psu for the price.

    Suddenly stopped working!! BEWARE
Bought January 23, 2023. This review was written on October 19, 2024, the same day my computer suddenly black-screened and refused to turn back on. That means that after less than two years of normal usage on my desktop computer, this 650w power supply fully broke on me and my 450w hungry computer.Breaking in 2 years is an absolutely abysmal performance and extremely dangerous as well for your computer. Thankfully, I was in a great spot–I am a college student so I had a laptop for backup and this PC was only for heavy duty photo editing and engineering programs. Also, by some miracle, none of my files (or god forbid the OS) were corrupted by the sudden loss of power. This also happened to be on the weekend, so I was able to quickly grab another power supply at Best Buy and replace it within 6 hours of it initially breaking. That’s not always the case though, and if your PC is absolutely critical or if you’re unlucky and something gets corrupted, congrats, a $60 power supply will ruin your entire year.

    Surprisingly good so far!
PROS:Budget-friendly price. It has all the power the PC needs. Love the button to select the range of colors to choose from so that it matches the theme of the PC. Easy to install, semi-modular means less overall cabling issues and less clutter in the case. 80+ Gold rating.CONS:It’s a brand I’m unfamiliar with. The flat, ribbon-like cables are fine, especially in narrow gaps or pass-through areas, but I’m not sure how they will hold up over time as I’m used to using cables with sheaths or woven covering. We’ll see how it holds up if it’s a con or not.OVERALL:I’ve read good/bad about this brand and I decided that despite my reservations we’d give it a try. And so far, we’re very satisfied with the power supply. This one went into one of our two gaming computers running a Ryzen 5 1600, 32gb DDR4 memory, Radeon RX 570, 2 SSD and 1 HDD drive with 3 x 200mm and 3 x 120mm led case fans. It has power to spare for future proofing our budget rigs that will eventually become better upgraded with a newer CPU and video card. Hopefully this lasts longer than the big-name brand that only lasted a few years.
