For 16gb of RAM, this thing can handle a good amount of work better than I expected. I can stream live and record using OBS and Ableton Live simultaneously, with no stutters or dropped frames.

When comparing the 14âpro M4 to the 15â air M3 the price was not that much different, $165.00 more for the pro. Note! These are Amazon Black Friday 2024 prices.I bought the MacBook Air first but found the screen not bright enough for my old tired eyes.I liked the 15â but the resolution was just not good enough for me, and the 16â was too expensive so I settled for the 14â Mac Pro which is just fine.Before I sent the air back, I was able to do some comparison and I feel I made the best choice, based on Performance & speed – M4 vs M3, Image Quality and The Mac Pro solid foundation platform history.I could not be happier with my purchase.

Upgraded from a 2018 MacBook Pro and wow what a difference. The quality of the screen, length of battery life, and processing speed are amazing. The touch fingerprint sensor is also a great feature and is very accurate and responsive. Transfering my HD and files from my old MacBook was a breeze. The only thing I’d say that I don’t like as much in the indent where your finger goes to open the lid is a little more narrow and sharply angled than the older design making it a tad harder to open, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Over all the Apple has outdone themselves with the M4!

Got it for my wife, she loves it!!! My wife is a software engineer and the performance and large ram size (16gb) really meets her needs. Only downside is the weight, I hope it has the weight of Macbook Air while has the performance of the Pro.
