My 1st Mac
First let me start by saying to all the loyal Mac users, don’t bash me to hardð«£ I wanted a Mac that had all the connections etc; usb, ethernet port, hdmi, cd/dvd optical drive, headphone port. You see, I love music, and I heard the sound quality of a Mac is best for music. No, I’m not a producer, I just love my own music collection. The only apple device I own is an iPod touch 7th generation.My brother is a Mac fanatic. After telling him what I wanted, he told me these were out dated, and impossible to find, if I did find one the price would be crazy! I took that as a challenge and the search began. Prices were really crazy without all the amenities I was looking for.Indeed it took a while, but I landed here. Everything I was looking for and the price was crazy great! (for my pocket). Yes, I read it was reconditioned, and the possibility of pings and dings. The return policy was great, so I took a chance.Delivery was fast, well packaged, to my surprise, the condition looked MINT!Setup was easy, I can transfer my iPod library, battery life not bad at all (depending on usage) without the charging cable. The only drawback is there are no more current updates for this unit. But for my use, it’s a winner.So if you’re looking for the current Mac device, with the current updates and all the connections I mentioned in my opening description, then yes, as my brother stated, it’s impossible to find. But for my 1st Mac I love it

LAPTOP NEVER TURNED ON!!!!!!!! 2 ND ONE CUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF A RECORDING SESSION!!!
This COMPANY WILL CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY. THE FIRST TIME I RECEIVED MY ORDER THE LAPTOP DID NOT COME ON ..THEN I HAD TO BEG THEM TO SEND ME A RETURN LABEL.OK THEN SENT ME ANOTHER MAC PRO..THIS ONE WORKED FOR A WEEK THEN AFTER MY ENGINEER GAD UPLOADED A 1K WORTH OF PROGRAMS INTO IT THE LAPTOP STOPPED WORKING IN THE MIDDLE OF A RECORDING SESSION.AGAIN I HAD TO CALL , GET A LABEL AND SEND IT BACK..I RECEIVED THE LABEL SENT TOOK IT TO THE POST OFFICE WHICH WAS OVER A WEEK BC AGO, AND NOW IVE STILL HAVEN’T RECEIVED MY REFUND..I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY BECAUSE YOURE GOING TO GET JERKED AROUND, NOW IM FIGHTING WITH AMAZON TO GET MY MONEY BACK.!!!!!!Worst experience EVER!!!!!

Good, cheap, cost-effective.
I was a little leery of purchasing a computer this old. B ut once I fired it up, it ran seamlessly and I forgot I was using a 10+ year old device. Some of the firmware and updates can be a little tricky… but nothing that a little patience and research to find compatible software won’t fix. FY$I the highest operating system you can run is Mac high Sierra 10.3 I don’t know if that meets your needs. Also the disk drive is a useful feature, for watching dvds etc. This thing is a dinosaur but worth every penny. You probably won’t find a cheaper Mac that still runs out there hope this helps

Storage
Okay, so I knew when I bought the product that it’d probably run out of storage quick. But I was still disappointed when I checked the storage (after the screen started lagging) that I only had about 1GB left. But this can easily be cleared out by:- Deleting junk mail- Using external storage- Deleting stray filesSo far, this laptop has been great, and the storage is fine, as long as you know how to manage it.For all people looking for a somewhat cheap and good laptop, this one would be my suggestion to you.

Old Dogs Can Learn New Tricks
You canât beat it for the price, seriously. If you read their description, they refurbish and have high quality control. My MacBook Pro arrived in bubble wrap, was charged to 20%, was able to login (not locked), super quiet, easy to update (if youâve ever used Google). Iâm now running MacOS Cantina if thatâs helpful.

Looked like new on the outside, inside not so much
This was a good deal the macbook looks like brand new on the outside. On the inside is another story the fan and air vents were fully clogged with dust and the battery was starting to swell a bit from age. After some cleaning and a new battery the unit works and described.

It was PAINTED
MacBook arrived and is older and clunkier than I expected. Itâs slow and cannot install Microsoft word because itâs incompatible with current iOS. Whatâs more is that I spilled a few drops of water on the outside of the computer and bubbles appeared immediate and the SILVER PAINT that was used to coat the laptop to make it look silver wiped away. I also attempted to gently wipe a smudge off of the back of the screen and the damp wipe I used took off more paint.It only hold a charge briefly, maybe an hour or two.Iâve paid around the same for brand new laptops before and had much better luck with them. Iâm requesting a return and a refund asap.
