MacBook Pro 2017
Only thing is that it came with the wrong charger, but mine uses the USB-C so it was a quick fix. After updating it to macOS Ventura the apps look just like they do on the newer models. It came charged and everything, no scratches and was clean. Good quality. It was a really good price considering the condition. Screen is good, performs good, and battery seems normal for day to day things.

So this is excellent conditionâ¦
Upon delivery the laptop looked great, but only after a couple days of use, the laptop would randomly and regularly power off on its on. Also the charger I was sent would work on and off. This was highly disappointing as I bought this for editing videos, and now I have to wait until the support line issues me a replacement. I canât afford to dish out 1k+ for a completely new MacBook!

No major complaints
This is the first Apple computer that I have ever owned/purchased. Item arrived safely packaged 2 days after ordering with no apparent damage due to shipping. Seems to function as it should with no notable damage on the outside shell of the computer except for a few minor dings and scratches that you have to look for to notice. No issues with the keyboard function so far either. The only issue immediately apparent upon booting up the computer was that it is saying “Service Recommended” for the battery, even though it shows only around 250 cycles and it drains very quickly when it is not plugged in. It seems cheap and easy enough to replace the battery yourself as opposed to bringing it to Apple for hundreds of dollars, but obviously not everyone would be comfortable attempting this so take that into account when deciding if you should purchase a used Macbook. So far, that is my only complaint but I’ve had the computer for less than 24 hours at the time of this review. Will update as needed if issues arise.

Excellent Deal!
I needed a new laptop for paramedic school and my chromebook wasn’t going to cut it. I was initially skeptical to buying renewed laptops but this thing is legit. The MacBook I was expecting was a mid 2017 13″ MacBook Pro and I actually got a 2018 one. I came in an actual MacBook box and looked brand new. Battery was at 80% as advertised and all specs were correct. Either this MacBook has a brand new battery or it was hardly ever used because my battery only had about 4 cycles on it. For all intents and purposes this is a brand new MacBook, no scratches or flaws on the body or screen and everything functions exceptionally. For $500 this is a solid purchase. Battery life last all day but I wouldn’t leave without the charger just in case. 10/10 would buy again.

Apple provides updates so you cannot tell the difference between this and a 2023 model that I use
I think it was the best value for the money

Kanga Supply
Bought MacBook Pro from third party: Kanga Supply, they advertised excellent condition, but there were sticker marks left behind once they had removed the stickers the previous owner had applied on the laptop. Very noticeable, not what I expected. Purchased in March, less than two weeks later the generic charger stopped working. Had to purchase a new one. Overall felt unsatisfied and misled. Will think twice before I purchase from Kanga Supply again.

I couldn’t tell the difference between the refurbished and new
CLEAN< CLEAN< CLEAN! Product arrive in a new shrink wrapped box, brand new Apple charger and cable. I literally couldn't tell the difference between the refurbished and a new in quality. No sign of EVER being used. Ordered a mid-2017 and a 2018 was indicated on the system details. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.
