Arrived in perfect condition. I’ve always been a mac person and this MacBook does not disappoint.

Terrible Product
This computer arrived with a defect, If you pressed down on the power button the entire computer freezes, and a hard restart is the only solution. After only 8 months of light use the laptop has multiple non-responsive keys and is unusable.

The space key on the keyboard is not as sensitive to a finger touch as the other keys. I have to press it twice to get a response.

It is a good platform for general Internet usage
This MacBook I purchased to replace a MacBook Pro that served me well until it took an unintentional swimming lesson. I chose the 12″ MacBook to use as my “roadie” because I travel often with my work. It is slim and lightweight and really not much larger than an iPad. It is a good platform for general Internet usage, e-mail, and word processing. The retina display is wonderful as is the backlit keyboard and enhanced trackpad. No complaints there at all. What I don’t care for as much with this computer is the single USB type C connection. I can see a disaster in the making if one trips over the cord or if one of my always active Labrador Retriever gets tangled up. The computer will take a hard fall in those cases and I fear some bad things will happen. The old mag-safe charger was perfect and I wish the new MacBook could have been designed to utilize the same. I also do a lot of digital photography and the 12″ MacBook has no SD card slot for quick uploading. The battery life is just so-so but with the exception of a long overseas flight, is more than enough to get through a typical day of computer usage.

DON’T TRUST
Just weeks after the return window closed I am experiencing problems with the motherboard, keyboard, and trackpad. This was not repaired as the seller stated and I feel greatly mislead and taken advantage of.

Great machine but disappointed with the misrepresentation
Advertised as a 2016 but received a 2015. Great machine but disappointed with the misrepresentation. Also can’t get any info on available service from apple. MacBook received was brand new but box marked as refurbished.
