    Perfect power for a Pi5
The Pi5 came with some new power requirements that put it’s needs outside of what the average USB-C supply can give you. That is due not to the voltage but current – the Pi5 needs a full 5A to keep it and any connected accessories juiced up. Most people will recommend you buy the official Pi power adapter, but knowing the excellent reputation of Argon I picked up one of these. Absolutely no regrets at all. This is a very well made high quality adapter. Cord is a good heavy gauge and the transformer is a GaN design so it’s super small for the amount of power it put’s out. Fully PD compliant, you can use this to power almost anything as there isn’t much that needs more low voltage current than a Pi. At less than $15 I will be picking up a couple more just to have them on hand.

    Good usb-c power supply
Not exceedingly tiny, like other GaN bricks, but does the job. Probably overkill for Raspberry Pi, but I can imagine a long service life for this power supply- perfect for a 24x7x365 server.

    A nice option for RPi5
Somewhat unique among USB-C power supplies in its ability to supply 5V 5A power for the RPi5. Compact, lightweight (GaN-based). Heavy 18 gauge cord (as you’d want for 5A). No built-in power switch. I plan to use this for a RPi 400. For stationary RPi5 use, I might favor a heavier higher wattage option.

    Worked Perfectly
Worked perfectly and was cheaper than the official power supply. I’d buy again and recommend this to anyone.

    Small and powerful
What more could you want. It’s perfectly sized for the RPI5 and is much smaller than other (official) power adapters. If you’re in the market for one of these, you really can’t go wrong. There are several in depth reviews that show it’s voltage output, PD use, power output and protections are spot on. I’m recommending to everyone that needs reliable power for their RPI5.

smallest, most solid pi 5 power supply
I’ve experienced a few pi 5 power supplies, and I’ve also straight up supplied a direct 5v, overriding the USB PD in firmware settings. When using the pi 5 around regular wall outlets, the easiest way to go is an AC adaptor. The pi 5, preferring 5A, means most USB PD supplies will not give the pi what it wants, instead likely defaulting to 5V@3A. This means persisting “low voltage” warnings when operating, even though for casual use it’ll still work. The official pi 5 adaptor of course fixes the power delivery problem. But it is also a bit chunky. Depending on the outlet or power strip, it may block other outlets.I’ve tried some other third party pi 5 supplies, and they somewhat address the klunkiness factor of the official adaptor. But this Argon One GaN supply: wow! Easily the smallest adaptor of the bunch. Small and solid. It doesn’t feel cheap. It functions and performs its intended task. Easily my preferred adaptor as a result. What’s more, Argon40 has been making a name for itself with other useful pi products, like their NEO and One cases, which especially with the One case, addresses another issue with the pi 4/5: the micro-HDMI ports. The One, via an internal daughterboard, converts to full size HDMI, wonderful! So, there’s an established trend there of making useful, practical pi products. I am pleased to report that their foray into power supplies maintains thei reputation as a quality supplier of pi components. Highly recommended.

    perfect for Raspberry PI 5
This power supply fits and works perfectly for my Raspberry Pi 5. The price is economical compared to buying a charger/power supply and USB-C cable separately. Recommended.

Unable to get the 5v/5a mode.
I receive the warning about USB boot requiring a high current power supply. Other than that works for the lower amperage.
