Very Pleased, love ASUS
It worked with my Mac out of the box with USB C and my Linux desktop with HDMI (desktop doesn’t have a C port). Charges my Mac and lets it have a USB hub too which is great. The picture is gorgeous and accurate. Been using it for coding, gaming and watching 4K movies with no problem. The USB ports work great, no flickering issues. Stand is solid and screen is easy to clean smudge wise. Similar ProArt monitors have amazing reviews on consumer reports.
If you are expecting amazing speakers you will have to look elsewhere. Also it is IPS so the black screen will still be illuminated limiting the contrast compared to an OLED screen. Still is color accurate and beautiful.
I was really satisfied and have been a long time ASUS fan in general.

Gorgeous color accuracy and quality.
I work as a graphic designer and photographer. I am quite picky with color accuracy since I use a MacBook, and love the retina screen. The color accuracy on this screen is really good, and the quality is amazing. I love how you can adjust the monitor’s height, and turn it vertically as well. It has a USB port in the back, as well as under the screen (including USB-C). The sound system is not great, but it is something I don’t really mind, since I wanted it for the visuals. You can adjust the screen brightness, and easily switch to energy saving mode to lower the brightness faster. Definitely recommend for designers.

The display itself is great! Very good viewing angles and colors look great out of the box. The 4k is sharp and crisp! The speakers however are not good at all. Youâd need a second speaker or a good pair of headphones. Also the materials donât feel premium at all, the stand looks metallic but is in fact plastic. Overall a great monitor to do your professional work

I bought this for my new M4 Mac Mini set up!
The packaging was very well thought out and set up was very easy too.
Didn’t need to configure much out of the box and the color accuracy is amazing.
While i don’t believe it was actually advertised, it does have built in speakers and they ain’t very good lol!
I already bought separate speakers anyway so its all good, just be aware of that!

Update. WORST customer service ever. Turns out the SRGB mode is for video gaming only and not applicable towards any images / photography.
I was excited for this monitor for my work needs in viewing pro images. Itâs important to note that after calling ASUS customer support the representatives arenât familiar with the monitor making any tech support questions impossible. They also will not reconnect you to any team members who may know.
If you click the prompt for Pro Art. You will end up getting redirected to different numbers because that dept also doesnât offer support for pro art monitors which I found frustrating and bizarre. After calling a few times and prompting the display department they had no idea about the monitor or any setting support or technical help knowledge.
This monitor, unless Iâm still doing something wrong on my end, in no way shows this beautiful glassy vivid color and screen like the ad shows. Perhaps Iâm missing something on my end. I wouldnât know. Be sure to set your monitor display settings correctly from your MacBook. Thatâs didnât make a slight difference It did help to take myself out of SRGB mode into standard mode which brightened it up a little more.
Maybe the issue is itâs not 4K and I didnât realize that. But if you want a stunning high resolution vivid and crispy monitor I would look into others. If customer support matters to you, definitely go elsewhere.
Bummer all the way around. But I am able to see an image larger format whoop on that I guess.

Freaking great screen
If youâre looking to get a great mid range price screen, go for it. Donât listen to all these other overly picky reviews. Those folks just canât be satisfied and find a reason to justify spending an arm and a leg on a $1,000+ monitor.
I do photography and video editing as well as game on it. It handles all of it. Iâm not sure about the speakers, because I use earphones when I game, so thatâll never be a problem. And how loud do I need a YouTube video to be when Iâm sitting right in front of it. So again, the speakers will never be a problem for me. So they sound fine. Everything about this monitor is dope. I will say, I donât like how long it takes to wake up, but, I mean, I can wait some seconds. Not that big a deal. Get it. Enjoy it!

Just set it up and so far so good. Screen colour matches my iPhone fairly well. Stand quality could be better — already chipped paint as I carefully unpacked it. Not enough to return, but something to keep in mind.

Mi principal preocupación era no perder la calidad que me daba una pantalla Apple y conseguir un monitor que tuviera caracterÃsticas similares o mejores, sin que esto significara desembolsar una suma alta de dinero, pues mi presupuesto era limitado.
