Works like Windows 11 and a Steam Deck
I bought this product to see how it works as a Windows 11 device and it works just like a Win11 tablet. I also bought it to see how well it works with pc games. Ultimately I wanted to play a PC game with Xbox controllability. Although configuring it to sync with my Xbox account was rather time consuming and tedious, it does work. As a result it functions like a game deck and like Windows 11 pc. You can even dock it and connect to a monitor, keyboard and mouse. I prefer to use it as a hand held device.

I love this thing! Like the steam deck only not limited to steam. The software is simple and straightforward. The performance is amazing considering itâs a handheld!

Good product a little siffuclt to get set up and use to
It seems like a good product I have only had it for a few days. Be sure to keep it ventilated good or it can over heat. Like don’t lay it down on a blanket and block the fans in the back. Also of your running high performance mode at 25w with no charger you really only get about 45 minutes of game play. You can always play it as it is charging though. I down loaded black ops and still have yet to been able to play for you some reason. Every other game seems to work ok. Left for dead for some reason is trying to run on mouse and keyboard controls and I haven’t figured that out yet ether. Like I said can be hard to use but it does seem like a decent product. I was going to buy the steam deck and accidently bought this one not paying attention. The ally has more potential then the steam deck because it’s not strictly gaming.

Stop Hesitating and GET ONE!
originally purchased for travel, but i find myself playing it more than playing on PC. whether its emulation, or playing straight from steam, the interface makes it as simple and comprehensive as possible. 0 learning curve, immediate fun!

I love it, but it gets very hot and battery is very weak
I really love everything about this unit except for the battery lasting maybe 1.5 hours, I have spent about $120 on two external batteries so I can play longer. Also, the unit gets extremely hot, primarily when running in turbo mode.If I was to do it again, I would buy a regular laptop. I am stuck for 2 years.

Decent hardware, poor Windows 11, useless hub
Uses stock windows 11 home, aside from armory crate. So comes with all the bloatware i.e. office365, etc etc. Does not work well, you touch a text tab and need to use a button shortcut to bring up keyboard.I would think a major mfg could get or create a customized, stripped down version of windows without all the extra crap. Not likely to want to use office on a game device. Or need all the defender stuff. I’m not going to be web browsing. Used to be you can turn that off, but it’s a hack now. This was probably the seller, but they touted a hub it came with. Very useless USB A type connector which the device does not have.Device also lacks a touchpad that most of the others have.

Es un muy buen equipo para jugar en portátil, no se siente pesado y corre muy bien los juegos en steam.
