    Great Monitor
The ASUS ROG Strix 49-Inch Ultra-Wide Curved Gaming Monitor is a phenomenal piece of tech that has completely transformed my gaming and productivity setup. The massive ultra-wide screen and 1800R curvature create an immersive view that draws you into games and makes multitasking seamless. Colors are vivid and sharp, with impressive contrast, making every detail pop whether I’m gaming or working.I not only use it for gaming, but it’s also been a huge boost to my productivity for work. The expansive screen real estate allows me to keep multiple windows open side-by-side, so I can easily manage tasks, compare documents, and stay organized without needing multiple monitors. The built-in KVM switch is a game-changer, too—I can effortlessly toggle between my gaming PC and work laptop with one keyboard and mouse setup, which keeps my desk clean and efficient. The high refresh rate and low response time deliver buttery-smooth gameplay without any noticeable lag or tearing, even in fast-paced scenes. This monitor is a solid investment for serious gamers and professionals alike. ASUS has truly outdone themselves with a monitor that delivers on all fronts—size, quality, and versatility!

    needs more attention
while everyone was raving about the ultrawide monitors from our korean counterparts, Asus has been quielty releasing these gems.I spend most of my day looking at spreadsheets, and the rest watching movies and playing video games. I needed a panel that would LAST, so I knew an OLED or LED or QDLED or whatever LED variant out now will inevtiably experience burn-in on the screen as it did on my wallet. This product’s VA panel is more resistant to burn-in.I’m also a toxic gamer, so a high refresh rate and relatively low latency monitor was my next consideration. Compared to modern IPS panels with ~1ms latency, VA panels normally have a ~4ms response time. This Asus monitor promises ~1ms, but I can’t really confirm that with my own eyes. I guess that’s fast enough for me. 4ms is 4/1000 of 1 second. My reaction time is worse than that.VA panels are also infamous for their motion blur, which this panels has, but not a dealbreaker because it’s hardly noticable. I tested motion blur and screen tearing with the ufotest website. Results are what you’d expect, but far from unusable when I need to 360 no-scope newbs across the map.I own two laptops. One is for work and the other for games. my previous solutions for switching between laptops for a monitor was a usb-c docking station. my next solution was a KVM switch inside a docking station. My wires kept tangling and I felt less comfortable doing the inny-outty on my laptop’s usb-c port everyday. This monitor has a USB-C, USB, HDMI, and Displayport inputs. I can finally keep my laptops plugged in and switch between them more seemlessly.out of the box, for me at least, no dead pixels. 100% working. good build quality. good product. this all-in-one solution really helped clean up my desk and meets all of my expections.ALSO ONLY DISPLAYPORT AND USB-C can output 165hz. HDMI can only output 75hz!

I think this is the best monitor for the new line of consoles for the price to performance ratio
So I’ll break this down into 3 categories. Things I like, things I don’t like, and who I would recommend this monitor to.First off, things I like?- I think the overall picture quality is amazing. It provides a snappy crisp image that with a little bit of tweaking in the monitor settings, you can make vibrant and colorful. This is all done without any screen bleeding or tearing.- Number two for me has to be the size and look of the monitor. I tend to gravitate towards a more minimalist look for anything gaming related. I like character but I don’t like anything over the top topically. This monitor provides extremely thin bezels making the monitor feel and play more like a 24in. This doesn’t take up a lot of desk space which makes it perfect for duel monitor setups especially with the thin bezels and the ability to attach this to a monitor mount. The monitor has the brushed dark gunmetal grey sliver frame with some black as well giving it a nice sleek character with little red accents in places like the base stand.- Third I like the adjustability of the monitor. You can rotate it 360 degrees and lean it forwards, backwards, and also adjust the height quite a bit.Now things I don’t like.- the monitor doesn’t have an opening in the stand to rout cables through like the VG245 had which can make hiding the cables a little more difficult.-Second is that this monitor only has one HDMI port, now this does have a display port and comes with a display cable, this isn’t anything you need to worry about if you are a console gamer. I wish this had two HDMI ports instead of one because having to switch cables going between consoles, or a laptop or pc can get annoying.-My last complaint is the navigation buttons on the monitor to navigate through the settings. Now while this was pretty easy to adjust to I still wasn’t the biggest fan. I prefer what the did on monitors like the VG245 where the had a joystick on the back of the monitor that made navigating through the menu much easier. Now who would I recommend this monitor to?- I think this is the perfect monitor for anyone who is playing on the new set of consoles or any PC or laptop that caps at anything higher than 175hcz. I think this is also the perfect monitor for anyone who competes on a shooter like cod or halo especially with its response time. If you want a perfect medium to smaller sized monitor for any kind of desk gaming I think this is perfect. Now you will definitely have to mess with the monitor settings in fact I will put mine down here- I play on FPS mode-blue light filter 0-brightness 100-contrast 85-saturation 90-color temp “cool”-skin tone reddish-sharpness 60-trace free 60And everything else leave the same as it comes. If you want a crisp smooth playing experience with vibrant beautiful colors than I highly recommend this. Weather you are competing on it or just casually playing solo or with friends on any of the new consoles or on a pc that caps under 175hcz than I think this is your best choice for the overall package. I hope this helped.

Been using it for 3 months so far, no problem at all. Some of the minor “issues” I notice is that:- Can’t change the brightness precisely unless you install an external brightness function, blue light filters have pretty big difference between each level.- Speaker is not the best for gaming, I would recommend getting an external speaker if you are a gamer.- Some of the screen modes (game visual function) isnt really necessary, but that’s just a personal thing.Other than these, I would recommend this screen for sure, it could be a pretty good choice for second screen as well.

La calidad de imagen es excelente pero tuve la mala suerte que a los pocos días le salió una linea verde verticalmente que arriba de los 140hz se notaba demasiado, tuve que devolverlo.

I got this monitor for the 144hz refresh rate, 1080p, built in speakers and price. Was a great purchase. But for people looking for something a bit different, I would go with at least 1440p because you can still see some alisaing and can be maddening at times. Good monitor, recommend.

I actually had one of these already and I’ve never had a issue with it so I decided to get a second one for my secondary monitor display. No regrets.
