High-Performance, Versatile Laptop for Work and Daily Tasks
I needed a laptop that could handle a little bit of everything—work, casual streaming, and light gaming—and the ASUS Vivobook Go turned out to be the perfect choice. It’s fast, versatile, and strikes the perfect balance between something like a Chromebook and a high-end gaming laptop. I picked it up during a Cyber Monday deal, and I couldn’t be happier with the value it delivers for the price.
Performance has been excellent so far. The AMD Ryzen 5 7520U processor and 8GB of RAM make this laptop responsive and reliable for everyday use. I’ve run multiple tabs, streamed videos, and even played some lighter games like Rocksmith 2014, and it’s handled everything without lagging or slowing down. It’s not a gaming powerhouse, but for what I need, it’s solid—responsive, consistent, and dependable.
One thing I really appreciate is the privacy webcam cover. It’s practical and gives me peace of mind during video calls or meetings.
The 15.6” screen is crisp and clear, making it a pleasure to use for both work and entertainment. Videos and documents look sharp, and the size is perfect for multitasking or just enjoying a good session. The integrated AMD Radeon Graphics also do a great job of keeping visuals smooth and consistent.
Storage is another standout. The 512GB SSD gives me plenty of space for files, programs, and even a few games, and boot-up times are quick. Windows 11 Home feels intuitive and runs smoothly right out of the box, so setup was fast and hassle-free.
The audio quality is pretty solid too. The ASUS SonicMaster speakers deliver clear, balanced sound, making it great for everyday tasks, music, and videos.
As someone who’s spent a lot of time with tech, I can say this laptop is a winner. It’s well-built, reliable, and versatile enough to handle a bit of everything. If you’re looking for something that can balance business tasks, light gaming, and casual media consumption without breaking the bank, the Vivobook Go delivers exactly that.
Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It does what I need it to do, looks great, and performs smoothly. ASUS nailed it here—this is a solid all-around laptop, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for value, performance, and practical features in one package!

Gets the job done, I guess.
It’s an Asus laptop, first of all: its built like a tank. It’s a bit large, not going to lie, but it’s a 15.6 inch. I chose my doom for that one. There are some very small, quiet fans for if you’re in class and play clash of clans, or something, and they rarely turn on. As for overheating, I haven’t had trouble with that yet. It actually stays quite cold.
As for hardware, it’s… Okay. It’s on the slower side, as the CPU doesn’t seem to run as good as I hoped and gets used up quick. But, it’s quite manageable and I barely notice it. It has good memory, and an excellent battery life and crazy fast charging. As for the screen — you need to tilt it a certain way, because it gets some funky colors when it’s not directly in line with your vision for some reason.
Overall? I thought this was part of some sort of scheme or something was wrong with it at first. It’s a quality laptop for the price, and great for college. Not too expensive, but does have those cheap aspects of it. It’s a smooth middle ground between a gaming PC and a $100 Chromebook. Honestly, better than $1200 MacBooks. It’s an Asus. Of course it’s better!

    Solid laptop
I bought this laptop for my daughter for college. It has been running flawlessly since she started using it. The laptop feels very solid but is not too heavy. It is slim. The screen is crisp and easy to read. Even with all the malware add-ons loaded, the operating system is very responsive. It ran so well that I bought another for myself.

    Good laptop
Does what it’s supposed to. Beware, it does not have upgradable ram, it is soldered chips. The ssd is upgradable. Stays cool well. I’ve seen others state that the screen is hard to see, I haven’t had any issues with those problems. Overall I’m pleased with it.

Worst screen ever to exist on a laptop
Unless you plan on using an external monitor do not buy this Laptop. The screen suffers from serious IPS bleeding where the screen’s backlighting bleeds white across the screen. Dark mode on Windows 11 was completely washed out unless you can find that one sweet angle which no one should ever have to do. I sent it back the same day it was delivered. Very disappointing as I would have expected much better quality from an ASUS product lower end Laptop or not.

    Fast, works great
I was frustrated with the slow operation of my laptop. I wasted so much time waiting on it. This works quickly, no waiting around. It functions well overall. It is fast even when updates are running in the background. I am not a super techy person so this works great for a simple business or household use.

Laptop was advertised to be with 16Gb RAM but it turned out to be only 8Gb. A great laptop but disappointed by the lower RAM.
