EXCELLENT PHONE
This phone has replaced my 15yrs old phone – phone setup up was easy an uncomplicated – but I set phone to 3 rings. Phone is smaller and takes up a small space on my desk – phone is well constructed and the best features are a good sized screen on the phone handset and the phone keys are lighted when being used. This is helpful when you are older. Calls received and made are clear (no noise or clicks.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS
Purchased the 5 handset unit with built in answering machine. Upon receipt, I charged each handset up overnight. After that I followed the directions to set up the phone system – easy set up. One great feature was that I could pair the main phone base with my cell phone and all of my contacts uploaded to this phone in about a minute– so I didn’t have to manually enter them. Loved that !! Great reception throughout the house – great clear connection on calls as well. Only complaint is getting to the directory is a bit cumbersome – that function should be easier. Other than that it is a great phone.

Replacing an older set (4) with weak batteries
Its a great phone set, phones work any where in our home and shop. Everyone these days must have a home answering machine to answer all the calls so your not having to engage with spam callers. The voice mail recall is easy. But I’m still not happy with the call block, and Smart call block. They could improve this a) Smart call block is complicated, so many variables.b) I’d also like if we could just bring up the number on the history list and push call block and have it enter it into the black caller list, but AT&T hasn’t yet added this simple function. Why???You have to manually type in each number, that’s a hassle.

Great Buy
Very pleased with this purchase. Good quality and easy to understand instructions. The price was very good too. Able to “block” unwanted calls. I should have gotten this product sooner.

Great phones!
I got these for a family member whoâs elderly. These are super easy to set up and the numbers are nice and large for them to be seen. The phones come with the batteries, chargers and phone cable to install them. Itâs a set of three and are super easy to operate. The batteries just plug in and and pre charged. The menu navigation is simple and turning the answering machine is easy to operate as well. Overall, Iâm super happy with the product! I recommend it.

Poor speaker quality
I bought this to replace an older model of the same. The speaker on the old one often made it difficult to understand someone when listening over the speaker, an important convenience for me. This newer model seems to have worse sound quality.Unfortunately, there is no way to transfer the directory from the old phone to the new one but maybe all the phones are like that. (I don’t want to transfer hundreds of numbers from my cell phone over bluetooth – only the 40 numbers I have stored on the old phone.)In any case, I bought it for simplicity, i.e. it’s basic features so I don’t have to learn how to use yet another item that is intended to be a convenience. It is simple to use and hopefully it will last as long as my old one did. That one became unreliable when the little wire in the charging cradle dislodged and started moving around making a poor connection.

Like origami setting it up or changing 1 thing
I bought this due to what seemed like pretty awesome and aggressive call Blocker features and the large screen. I’ve always bought panasonic but this phone was far more “advanced”. I just set it up and I really dislike how complicated this is. All phones I’ve had, for decades, had intuitive set up and I chalked my difficulty up to maybe just not being used to.this brand. I spent 45 minutes scrolling , hitting buttons, not finding a simple “erase” or “space” anywhere to enter numbers then having the phone save stuff I have to go retype and erase. I didn’t use the manual, having zero problem, ever, setting up a phone, and if you lose the manual good luck setting this up or trying to do “a” thing. I liked the smart call block which instructs callers that you’re screening calls and to say their name then press pound to be rung thru. The manual clearly states that this can block calls you want to have and so don’t use it. Which isn’t helpful. Doctors and others call from private cell phones now and many work from home and aren’t using caller-ID branded company phones so its also impractical to block everyone but who is in your phone directory (another option). If you want to do this, you cant import or choose the numbers you’ve added to your directory- you have to retype all the names and numbers, one by one, again, to your ” allow list” . Many i have in my directory still say “unavailable” above the number which isn’t helpful if you have the caller ID speak who is calling so you can go pick it up or let it go to voice mail. A few options you can set up, like allowing everyone in your Directory through didn’t work. I also looked for extra batteries, just in case, and in putting the phone name, I find none listed. I guess you have to look at the 300 batteries being sold to find the compatible ones but ATT ought to make this easier. While the screen is large, my smaller one had thicker text and I find this readout spidery and not too easy to read. Perhaps I’ll get used to it but I find this overly complicated, the spoken set up instructions pretty much tell you to read the manual, and alas, it has shrill, annoying ringer tones. The voice announcer is really weird, pronouncing things slowly and with strange inflection.. Wouldn’t buy again and would return if I didn’t need a phone this second. Way too complicated, even.for the easy stuff.UPDATE: I have tried my best to adjust to this phone and persevere. after months and re-re-reading everything and multiple resets and endless tweaking this phone is a nightmare. if I leave it on ” block everyone but people in my directory” then its fine. but not practical. i had it on “block unknown calls” which then started giving me spam numbers calling but without any ID to it. my best friend continually rings thru as “unknown caller” tho she’s in my allow list and directory, yet the talking ID will announce her name. many, many times I’ll answer the phone and it goes to one, constant ring, like an alarm going off. it won’t answer and I can’t turn this off! I have to yank the batteries out. the person calling gets dead air. many times someone will call and hear me but I can’t hear them. I even called ATT who muddled thru the same instruction tome as I have. people in directory show up as “unknown caller” in spite of being allowed. Jerks calling can’t be blocked because if you block number you have to enter a name, too, and you cant put in “unavailable ” or “out of area” . block doesn’t go by name but you cant just block a number, period. many times phone will ring (when using the screener) and I’ll pick.it up to be asked by the phone screen to “press any number and then pound” which is what the CALLER is supposed to get, not me. if I do this im told by phone voice this is an invalid phone number so my call can’t be completed. huh??? the actual caller will tell me the phone rang forever then went dead silent. my caller ID will show my number called me and as “unknown” I give up.

I’ve bought soooo many phones for my elderly mom. Either the buttons were too small or the sound quality too poor. I bought the ‘Clarity’ phone and ironically, it had the poorest sound quality of all the ones I’ve bought. This AT&T phone has large buttons that light up as soon as the phone is lifted off the base. The sound quality is much better than most phones. The ‘Talk’ and ‘Off’ buttons are also fairly large so easy for her to use. It’s not big but isn’t as small as some. The larger size is easier for her to hold and use. It’s decently loud for her to hear easily.I’d definitely recommend this phone for older people to use!
