Works great with Ooma service to block unwanted calls; good call quality
I bought this to use with Ooma internet phone service. I love how I can configure this phone system to only allow calls from certain phone numbers. We set this up as a backup phone system in case cell phone service goes down, and it ensures we receive ZERO telemarketing or robocalls. We permit friends and family phone numbers, and block everything else.Easy setup and great call quality. A fantastic phone system and answering machine. Highly recommended!! I rate the system 12 out of 10!!!

Great Phone Set
My husband picked this set out because he is the one who sets it up. I really love this phone set. It is off white in the front and gray in the back. The buttons are large and light up. It is easy to block unwanted calls. You can actually connect it to your cell phone if you want but I didn’t . My husband and I are very happy with our purchase plus I even got a ten dollar discount coupon on it which helped ! My old AT&T set lasted at least 15 years so I stick with this brand !

not easy to set up and use
Our Panasonic multi phone had a rough life. After 25 yrs.plus I decided to purchase a new phone for the house. This unit was not clear on the steps for settting up. Also it was difficult to get used to the buttons. Took more pressure than our old set to pick up on a call. But I do like it more so, now that I can answer calls and the simple recorded messages. Now to activate the call blocking. I have to figure this out. I did not find a video on how to program this phone. That would have been helpful. Both of us are retired from the military or nursing, and are 75 yrs old. We cope with new devices daily. Just wish they would make the information simple graphics for those who have poor vision. Thankyou. Over all the product is great, just activating and navigating is not so great.

A phone in every room while your cell phone sits on it charger
Well built and if you are tired of being tied to your cell phone. Or having to hunt the thing down all over the house. This is your fix. Put the cell in the charger on the way in. Buy a magic jack, you already are paying for the high-speed internet. Now you have two phone numbers, a phone much always within reach. If you really dislike unwanted calls be sure to get a magic number with an out-of-state area code so the caller ID shows it not even from your area code you can just ignore it. In the meantime how nice to have your cell phone ring in multiple rooms throughout the house within arms reach without having to hunt down one device that is always in its charging station easy to grab on your way out the door because it is always in the same spot while these phones take over. Give yourself a break from the blue screen while you’re at it. Maybe it’s just me but my house hides my cell phone in the most creative places and then you are really in a bind when you forget where you last had it and the battery is dead and you can’t call it and you’re already late trying to get out the door. Well, this is your solution. Personally, I find there is a comfort factor also compared to holding onto a flat rectangular device. Most important is the phone delivers as advertised.

Having a problem after 3 years.
I bought one of these 3 years ago and liked it initially, however in the last year it has started making an annoying sound when the answering machine picks up or if I answer the phone. At first, I tried unplugging the unit for a little time, then plugging it back in, and it would work for a couple of months. Lately this is not working. I have turned off the answering function and it doesn’t help. My land line is still listed on many accounts and I need to be able to use this. Any ideas before I get a new system?

Buyer regret set in when I tried to program the phone
There is almost nothing to like about this phone system — if my old phone system had not completely collapsed, I would have returned the whole kit and kaboodle. As is, I am now stuck with the worst AT&T phone I have ever had. The instructions are poor, the keys on the handsets unresponsive and I would not recommend others waste their money as I have mine.

actually clever and worked well
It said it had features, I wasn’t sure about this, AT&T used to be a great company.I’m sure they outsource these, but they picked a nice vendor. They work well, easy setup, and the tie to the cell phones is very nice. All of them ring if either cell phone rings. We use the landline a lot more, something we keep for emergencies, now we make more normal calls. The range is not as advertised, no radio is, but if you keep line of sight, it can go several hundred feet. That was actually more than expected, and enough to cover our property.I wish the base unit had battery backup too, to work when the power it out.So, we still keep the old Bell wall phone, only using this for one of the landlines. It’s nice though, I would recommend.

We’ve had the 3 set version for about a week + and so far it works well for our purpose. One thing of note, the sets themselves are very slippery when operating. I totally understand that AT&T were trying to streamline the handsets as much as possible which in and of itself is a good concept. However, I find them too streamlined and rounded where you do not get a good enough grip on the unit when punching in numbers. Very easy to drop the unit. I am not a big guy nor have large hands so in my opinion this would be even more problematic for individuals with large hands/fingers.Other than that, I would say overall they are good sets. Excellent reception wherever we go throughout our house. Clear sound either through the set or hands free speaker. Good bang for the buck in my opinion.

Display only lights up for a few seconds making it difficult to see who is calling without having to pick up the phone.
