Nice tripod, but panning knob broke and head not replaceable
The tripod works well for family pictures during holidays and birthday parties, and we also use it for FaceTiming with relatives. The setup is convenient and functional, especially for indoor use. However, itâs a bit clunky and cumbersome to carry around for outdoor activities.Unfortunately, the durability is a concern. The panning handle broke unexpectedly. It started feeling loose, and when I attempted to tighten it, the handle snapped completely. Since the tripod head is not removable, this left me with limited options: either throw the entire tripod awayâresulting in unnecessary waste… so bad for the environmentâor continue using it with a broken panning handle.Overall, while the tripod is functional and versatile, the build quality of certain parts, like the panning handle, needs improvement. It would be nice to see some responsibilities from manufacturers to have replaceable parts to reduce waste. If youâre using it for light, stationary use, it works fine, but for frequent adjustments or outdoor use, you might want to look for a more durable alternative.

Needed a replacement for the flimsier one we had that got broke and cost more! This one is way sturdier and comes with a bag and extends further and accommodates phone or tablet! Remote is an added benefit but not a deal breaker!

This product is light weight, and yet very sturdy. I used it for the first time the other day, and I had no issues figuring everything out without the need to read instructions. It really is a nice design. The legs extend effortlessly and I love how each section has individual locking clips. I used it yesterday to do some picture taking with my cell phone, and it was such a pleasure to use. I used the remote control that came with this unit, such a useful device, and I have an android Samsung phone and it worked flawlessly. I merely went into bluetooth in my phone settings and allowed the remote to connect to my phone and voila it worked.I needed to take a bunch of pictures from my TV guide on screen, so I could identify all of my channels, and it was so kewl. I simply sat on the chair, took the pictures using the remote control and changed screens using the remote control for the TV. Wow, does this unit ever make it easy to be lazy LOL. I am a senior and my hands aren’t as steady as they once were, causing some blurry pictures, but now that I have this unit the camera will always be steady. Did I mention that this thing is so light as it is made with what appears to be perhaps a light weight aluminum or maybe it’s some kind of alloy, I never read the description that closely, but trust me it is so light you can carry it around with your baby finger and this is a huge bonus. It comes with a very nice material carrying case with a draw string to close it. You will be very happy with this purchase.
