Great pop socket dupe for the price!
Iâve only had it a few days so idk about the longevity, but so far I love it! Itâs a TAD bit thicker/bulkier than a real PopSocket & a little flimsier. However, it makes for more comfort while holding your phone! Itâs softer to the touch and I love that! I think I prefer it over my real PopSocket 𤯠my ONLY complaint is it being a little more bulky

Super flimsy, but at least it’s comfortable
tl;dr: The product isn’t bad, but be aware that its can be pretty fragile over time.Used for about two weeks. The grip works just fine being made of a super soft silicone where the rigidity while it’s collapsed comes from a plastic socket the outer part clips into. The system is alright, and it’s really comfortable relative to a normal popsocket. The two big downsides are that it can’t hold your phone up in any way, and it isn’t very durable. As I said, mine lasted about two weeks with the constant fidgeting one does with a phone. At that point it developed a small tear. It probably would have lasted another couple weeks, but I had already decided I was getting a different one, so I ripped it open to see the inside and confirm how it worked.

Magnets attach very well and itâs comfortable to hold, but the pop socket itself is quite flimsy feeling and pops out with very little resistance. Afraid of the longevity of the product because of this and its likelihood of deploying while entering my pocket.

It works on mag safe stickers, real OR knock off. It also works with the cases, real or knock off. Have both. It’s awesome. It’s very sturdy and convenient when I want to wireless charge because my charging port won’t work. The pop socket thing can get in the way but being able to take it off is such a life saver for me because I find them so convenient. The one time I didn’t have a pop socket going I dropped my phone and smashed my screen…. so yeah I love this thing so much. I wish the rubber part wasn’t so thin and weak but it does the job!!!

This is a great little phone grip for MagSafe devices or cases (Iâm using it with a Samsung Galaxy S21 and a magnetic case), which can be expanded to put your fingers between the grip and top and hold your smartphone securely in the middle rather than on an edge. This lets you reach more of the screen easily.The expanding silicone part is not strong enough to stay expanded if you set it down onto a flat surface, and it will collapse itself. If you want it to stay collapsed for any reason, you can snap it in the collapsed position, and it then needs to be unsnapped to expand it again. Conversely, itâs equally easy to expand when picking your smartphone back up. It also works as a kickstand, albeit poorly if you need to touch the screen in any way since itâll just rotate the phone or topple over.If your smartphone or case has strong enough magnetism, this grip is hard to remove for wireless charging, so you should put this on for semi-permanent use. The best way to remove it is to slide the base out, which on some phones is difficult, rather than pulling the top away. Pulling the top away is almost guaranteed to break the whole thing. However, I have tested it for almost a whole month and it has been holding up just fine for me.

Part of this review is based on the usefulness of the product but part of it is also based on the comparision with the well known comparable brand name version.It looks good. I ordered this in black and it’s smooth and has a satin finish.The magnet itself is flawless. I just can’t imagine it falling off accidentally under any circumstances.I’m using this on a phone with a magnetic case and the metal ring and vertical metallic piece line up perfectly with the magnets on the case.It’s very easy to pop open and when it pops open it only has one ‘fully open’ setting.The open and close feature is like an “air bladder”. It takes very little pressure to push the air out and have it close. For example, if you face the phone downwards, the weight of the phone will pop it open. And if you face the phone upwards, the weight of the phone will pop it closed.Because it can close so easily, setting this on some surfaces to use it as a phone stand can be unreliable.You must carefully place the edge of the round top against the base at the right angle or it will close.My other phone grip spins which is a nice feature. This one does not spin.This is much better than no grip at all. But it would work better for me if the open position was a locked position and not one that closed with a tiny bit of weight or force put on it.I do consider it a bonus that it is super easy to open. I just slide my finger under it and it gently pops right open.It’s a solid 4 star phone grip. If you understand what you’re getting ahead of time (by reading this review perhaps) then you might consider it a perfect fit for you. The price is right for an easy to remove phone grip that allows you to use other magnetic things like chargers or car phone holders.

I use a popsocket on my phone all the time. I wanted to get a cheaper option in a different colour to match some of my phone cases. I frequently change phone cases and this was a good option for my light coloured phone cases.This does a good job holding my phone and also acting as a phone stand however, it is on the soft and squishy side. It does collapse periodically and itâs not as supportive as the original popsocket. I donât mind it as much because it is more than half the price of, a popsocket. I recommend this if youâre looking for cheaper option.
