Works good.
I got this as a present for my nice because she enjoys doing videos. I enjoy that it is easy to use and it feels sturdy and not like it will break easily. It functions good in both upwards and sideways positions making it possible to do different types of videos.

Works with my GoPro
I only used this with my phone in horizontal position since that is the only way I film. I will preface this by saying I actually got this with high hopes I would be able to use it with my GoPro more than my phone.The tracking is pretty darn good for this price point. If you move too fast, the device will eventually lose you. The further away you are, the harder it is for it to track you. I’d say this is partially due to the fact that the camera angle that tracks you can only be manually adjusted. Plus it only tracks faces, not bodies. When you are moving, the device tends keep you at the edge of the frame instead of trying to stay centered on your face which is not my favorite attribute (again, I only testing filming horizontally).I was able to mount my GoPro to this simply by putting it in where the phone clips in. It did not slow the device down or cause any issues. Works fantastic.Gestures work very well. I did not test battery life or if it will continue to operate while being charged. If this thing swiveled up and down and centered better when rotating – it’d be 5 stars at this price. I’ll definitely be using this!

This autotracking phone holders are a little marvel
I like the face tracking feature and the gestures to stop, continue, shoot stop following, etc. even though it takes a little getting used to but they are very responsive. Every now and then the gestures will fail or sometimes it will incorrectly interpret a natural hand movement as a gesture but that is expected as this technology is evolving. I tend to use my hands a lot when I am talking and that is probably the reason why it stops sometimes but I am very satisfied with this product in general. I don’t need to bring the tracker along with me every time I move around my kitchen table. Since I do a lot of facetime and messenger video with the family, it is an excelent tool to have.

Face tracking you have to see to believe
What a versatile little device!The primary use is as a face tracker. Most will want to use this for videos/livestreams. This can practically take the place of a videographer in some small locations. You can use this for selfies at a destination, perhaps taking multiple shots as it follows you around.You can also use it as a tripod on steroids. Use gestures or the (tiny!) remote to take photos/video. You can attach the included stabilizing base, or even attach it to your normal tripod. The head pivots fully front to back, allowing you to capture memories at just about any angle.Finally, there’s a (2-speed) 360-degree rotation feature that could make for interesting scenic shots.It’s not perfect – face tracking works amazingly well in well-lit, high contrast environments. But it can “forget” your position at times, and then either “catches up” to you, or loses you altogether. The height angle adjustment on the camera is a very nice touch, allowing you to track above or below the height of the device. However, this adjustment is manual, and so will only allow tracking at one particular height, until you adjust it again.Finally, the included remote is super handy, and designed well, fitting in the side of the unit snugly. You can even use this without the main tracking device. But it is super tiny – about the size of a Tootsie Roll – so don’t lose it!Recommended as a great value for all it can do.

Automatic face tracking phone holder â well made, works as advertised.
I was skeptical at first when I saw this and didnât think it would work well without connecting to my phone. But sure enough as soon as I turned it on it started tracking me and my movements.It takes a little getting used to as far as how you move and your positioning You just have to get used to the way it tracks you. But once you get to know its way of tracking you itâs awesome!I didnât want one that had to connect to my phone because I wanted to use it with multiple cameras. This way I can switch cameras or phones and donât have to worry about having to use an app or connect to a phone to track me. Overall, very impressed and happy with the quality of this tracking mount!

Amazing little device that tracks you without the need for 3rd party apps – all the programming and tracking/gesture AI is self contained within the device itself. Compact and portable automatic face tracking adapter works with more than just a phone – I am currently using it to keep a mic array pointed in the correct orientation for audio sourcing. It works perfectly (a bit of a stutter here and there but at this price I do not expect single degree rotation) as it is designed. The gesture recognition also is right on point (no pun intended). The tiny AI camera can tilt up and down to allow for sitting or standing subjects or adjustments if you have it on a tripod. The rechargeable battery lasts forever (ok that is an exaggeration) but after a few hours of use it has not needed to be topped off and it outlasted the recording session. I may pick up another to automatically pan one of those cheap $5 stationary “pet” cameras to turn the camera into something a bit more useful such as monitoring my living room when I am away to see when people arrive home.
