I bought two these for my grandsons and they absolutely love them!!

I have been looking for some new headphones for a long time and I have tried quite a few, both budget and expensive versions. One of the thing I have found very annoying is this obsession with booming bass. I’m from the 1970’s and I want my headphones to play the music as it is on the CD, or DVD or MP3. I don’t want to be swamped by bass. I bought some Audio Technica headphones for listening at home and for mixing music and they were the only headphones I could find with a neutral bass, in other words headphones that let the bass sound as it should. These headphones are excellent but they are too big for a 63 year old man to be wearing whilst walking to work. So I looked again and finally came back to Beats headphones. I have tried my son’s Beats headphones and the sound is fantastic but far too much bass. But when I looked up reviews for these EP headphones, the one thing that caught my eye was that, apart from being Beats lowest priced headphones, with no wireless connection, no detachable wiring, non-folding, they just happened to mention that they were much less “bassy” than all their other headphones. I have to agree. As well as being extremely comfortable to wear, even after 20-30 minutes walking home, the sound is outstanding and the bass is normal and rock music sounds like it is supposed to sound. If you are still listening to music from the 1990s and earlier then these are the headphones for you. Very solid build, very comfortable to wear, and very pleasing to the ear. I can’t recommend them enough

Persönlich bin ich ein großer Audio Genießer und somit eigentlich kein Beats Fan.Das vorgegebene Klangbild ist tendenziell sehr basslastig und scheidet damit für mich aus.Da sich jemand aus der Familie aber partou dieses Modell gewünscht hat und es vor Weihnachten für ~44,00 EUR angeboten wurde, schlugen wir dennoch zu.Und was soll ich sagen: für den aufgerufenen Preis machen die EPs wirklich fast alles richtig.Zwar muss man immer noch dominierende Bässe und die entsprechende Musik feiern, wenn dem aber so ist bieten die EP erstaunlich viel Dynamik und Dampf. Auch bei höherer Lautstärke bleibt der Frequenzbereich stabil, nichts wird schrill oder gar schwammig und auch der Tragekomfort ist – wenn man overear mag – angenehm und leicht.Fazit:Ein guter, günstiger Kopfhörer, mit gefälligem Design und ganz viel Reserven was laute Musik betrifft. Der Beschenkte freut sich jeden Tag darüber und auch uns gefällt er ziemlich gut – eine klare Empfehlung, so lange der Preis nicht wieder extrem steigt.[Aus der ersten Rezension, vor mittlerweile Jahren, wurde recht schnell Leidenschaft und ein lieb gewonnenes Hobby.
