Fast Workstation PC
I recently bought this SER5 when it was <$250 after coupons. At that price, this is a very good little mini PC. It is an upgrade from a 3 year old Terryza (no longer offered on Amazon) with a J4125 CPU. That PC worked fine until a few months ago when our internet seemed to slow considerably on only that PC, and not several other PCs in the house. It turns out that was a faulty 5-port unmanaged switch at the PC, but I used the internet issue to justify an upgrade. I paid about $186 for that Terryza in 2020 and about $70 more for this one. The difference is amazing. The Terryza served us well for Office, internet browsing, YouTube streaming, Spotify streaming, etc. We don't play games on any computer, so that was never an issue. This new Beelink is so much faster, it's pretty amazing. I use Novabench to benchmark my PCs, and went from a combine score of ~775 to 1,776. Sure my main photo editing PC hits just over 5,000, but for day-to-day tasks I can't tell the difference.FYI: The Novabench graphics test resulted in 14 FPS on the Beelink vs. 4 FPS on the older Terryza.There is virtually no fan noise at all. I have to put my ear to the PC to hear the fan and cannot hear anything with it mounted behind my monitor. I did have to buy a new monitor (I got the ~$100 Sceptre F24 - very nice) because my old cheap 22" Acer had neither HDMI nor DP and this Beelink does not have VGA. Oh well, the new monitor is also a very nice upgrade in our kitchen over the old Acer.The PC does produce some heat, but not a lot. I did notice that a flashdrive I had to use that had an older Adobe Acrobat Pro that I wanted to re-install from the Terryza got very hot after transferring only 725 MB of install files. That's probably more a problem with the flashdrive than the USB port, but I have yet to investigate.The PC I received had absolutely no bloatware that I could find (searching programs, services, start-up files, uninstall apps, and going through the Program Files and Program Files (x86) folders). If they stuck something in there, I can't find it.Overall, we are very happy with this $250 mini PC. Only time will tell if it will hold up, but for the time being it's quite, small, fast and seems to have a clean OS. It's not a gamer, but it is a very powerful unobtrusive little workstation PC.

Awesome performance and excellent support
I purchased this computer to edit photos in Photoshop. It is fast and good image quality. I have made a couple of inquiries of customer service and I get prompt responses. As the manual didn’t identify which USB connections were of what class and the Amazon site didn’t provide that information, I asked customer service and received an image that resolved that question and I have posted it here for others. It is a quiet machine. Windows was installed and took only a short time to set up, did not have an install process as shown in the Amazon video. It just booted up and working. I was surprised and pleased at its small dimensions.

I bought this for myself to game with, I can play Skyrim on ultra high settings and mods, but I don’t do much with the atmospheric mods, mostly with gameplay to make things easier, like lanterns and permanent bound weapons. I also play stardew valley, minecraft, World of warcraft, final fantasy 14 and lots of other games. they are not the most intensive but they still require a decent amount and run well. my only complaint is hard drive space but since i play throught Steam, I can uninstall games to make room for other things and not lose data, so that is not a big deal either. I love that i have the option to mount it to the back of a monitor if I wanted to. I actually bought my daughter one very similar to this for christmas this year and she already loves it. I’m trying to talk my husband into getting one bc the price is so good for what you get. definitely recommend if you are super tight on budget but want a new computer to game with and are a casual gamer.

Tiny and very low power (idle <5W).Quite a good Win 11 install that seems to have a lot of the Win 11 crap disabled.Very good quality video output. Playing to a high end TCL QL mini led tv noticeably better than the native apps.

It’s just so quiet and silent that it feels unfair. With it being so tiny, it’s even more mysterious. Incredible technology. Windows updates took me several hours but it got done. I did allocate an additional 4gb ram towards video. With fortnight running and a few other applications in the background, I noticed there was still 11.9 gb of total system ram available. I think that 32gb total system ram is going to be just fine if the user is only playing one tripple A game at a time, which seems a fair enough activity. Consistent 30°c CPU temp.I do not understand what all the “AI” designation is doing in the background, but experientially, to me, nothing. I don’t get it… But this ser9 so far is just really incredible tech.I did not mess around with warranty and purchase Amazon’s 3 Year warranty.Overall, really just ridiculous tech here. Amazing!

Never had a chance
From day 1 it kept giving me the blue screen and rebooting every few minutes. Support had me download BIOS update from a 3rd party which took forever to download but if I paid for the subscription it would download faster. Updated BIOS and it waited an extra few min to blue screen and reboot. Returned and didnât even open the SER6. Returned both.

Quiet – easy to use – ready to go
Arrived early, well packaged. First thing I did when I received it was to watch a diy video and then proceeded to add an extra ssd drive for more memory – the video helped to point exactly how to access the different components. The internals are well put together, simple and sturdy. The setup was a breeze. Windows loaded fast. I usually build my pcs from scratch but it was cheaper to buy this plus I always wanted an upgradable mini version of what I usually use. With a portable tablet monitor and a folded keyboard I basically have a powerful mini pc I can take with me anywhere in the world. Iâm happy with my purchase.

I have been running this SER7 PC for about 3 weeks now. Transition from my old PC using PCMover ™ was smooth and almost 100%. I only had to update apps that were incompatible with Windows 11.I use this PC as a software development platform and so far it does exactly what it says on the box. Good performance and no issues. The small footprint is a bonus, too. It frees up some desk-space.Update: there is one little issue with this PC that is annoying but not a game changer. The magnetic power connector is a bit flaky. Any movement of the box tends to disconnect the power. This is especially true if it is on a soft surface (e.g. on a tablecloth.) My recommendation is to keep it on a hard surface somewhere where it won’t get knocked or moved. Otherwise, it is still performing excellently as described above.
