Tips to better use this mini pc
Regularly delete the software distribution folder in OS directory to keep updates size use down. This folder is used for updates for OS.Uninstall any program or app that isn’t needed or used. Once done, there was enough space to update OS.Beelink Mini computer Support RTC Wake Settings, Auto Power On, Wake On Lan, PXE Boot etc. You can set it on the BIOS.
Note:
To avoid initial setup issues, the first time you use this mini pc , don’t connect network or wifi until the OS of your mini pc is running.

Fast and does whatâs it needs to do. For GAMERS, emulators work awesome and even steam games like Palworld is working perfectly! Definitely value for the price. Streaming is fast, switch between apps and multiple programs open doesnât deter it at all.

WOW! Unbelievable. I’ve been mulling to replace my over 10 years old HP desktop for a while now and, the first time I saw these miniature pc I’ve been skeptical considering how small they are and the amount of hardware pack into them. Not to mention, they’re a no name brand. But, their size, features that rivals conventional desktop from big brands and, the price tag to boot is hard to ignore. I decided to test the waters by purchasing the Beelink Ser 5 equipped with AMD Ryzen 7, 32g memory, 500g SSD, Win 11 Pro, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. After two days of running, it through routine usage scenario, I have to say that these mighty mite will give the big box brands with their towering stature a serious run for their money! For all the features that came with it, I would have paid more than twice for a name brand. This diminutive pc along with the folding bluetooth keyboard/mouse pad and, 17-inch monitor will be replacing my 13-inch Dell laptop on the road.What I like, size (5×4.5×2 inches), quiet, feature pack, no bloatware whatsoever, price. What I don’t like (just a minor quibble) size of power brick with its non-folding prongs. Kudos to the Beelink designer, engineers! They’ve engineered a marvel!

Good Purchase
Arrived on schedule. Packaging from Beeline was good but not ready for rough handling. Amazon just put it in a bigger box but it arrived OK. There weren’t any manuals that came with the unit so you have prior setup knowledge or there are some You Tube videos that can help with startup. Windows 11 pro eliminates most bloatware but you still have to deal with all the MS junk. Very fast at startup but after loading all my apps it began to slow up but still good.I guess I got one of the good ones.

Underpowered budget gaming
This rig will set you up for entry level gaming in 2024 and works fine as a multimedia center or workstation. No flaws to note yet, other than a slight lack of gaming power in higher power titles and 4K gaming. But for the price point and its intended purpose, it’s fine. Stick to lower 1080/2K graphics settings and you’ll have a good time.

First time Mini PC owner
I had been wanting to get a Mini PC for years but never got around to it. After researching for at least a month I decided to go with this model because I wanted the updated DDR5 and not be stuck with the older DDR4. The speeds are great and the included Crucial NVME drive along with the Crucial RAM works great. I have read of others having heating issues, etc. but that can be with any Mini PC. Changes can be made in the power settings to minimize any heating issues. I tested it without making any changes and the temps hit up to the mid 80’s C and close to 90 C. After making changes in the power settings inside Windows to set to 99% versus 100% made a big difference in heating without any performance loss. I use it to surf the Internet, play movies and TV shows and to run some PC games along with some older arcade games. The device runs smoothly and can handle some decent games but will struggle with alot of the newer AAA games due to the requirements of those. The 680M graphics built into the chip is fairly powerful for most things that you would want to do but will of course struggle with AAA games because it just isn’t built for that purpose and wasn’t the purpose of my purchase. If you are looking at running AAA games a desktop PC with a more powerful GPU would be the way to go but if you are looking at something that is fairly cheap, fairly powerful and can do a decent amount of work then this device is pretty good. Of course the small form factor is great and sits on my desk without taking up hardly any room at all.I would also recommend getting the extended warranty through Amazon for peace of mind. The manufacturer only gives a 7-day warranty. Amazon gives a 30-day return warranty. But as we all should know these Mini PC’s are still fairly new in the last few years and reliability of some of them can be dependent upon how well they are manufactured, environmental settings along with usage. At least with Amazon’s extended warranty you have that protection if anything was to go wrong say like 6 months into usage, etc. I personally never had to use the Asurion warranty policy that can be purchased and haven’t had any issues with any products I have ordered unless it was a mistake of not really reading into what I was purchasing.

Small and powerful
I bought this to replace my huge mid size PC. If it wasn’t for the size difference, I wouldn’t be able to tell which is which. The small unit performs the same or even better than my mid size PC tower. When I first got it, it did had some fan noise, but I was able to adjust it from the BIOS with no issues.

Excellent Media Server
I bought this to use as a Emby media server. I installed it behind my TV and added some videos as a test. Since the videos are stored on the Internet SSD, they load almost instantly. It also makes a great Windows PC. The TV is 65′ and the screen looks excellent whether I’m watching a movie or surfing the Internet.

Tbh just get yourself a steamdeck. Its more mobile than this and has MUCH more features and compatibilities.This little machine is nice but overpriced for what it offers.

I like the speed of this machine, it does run very hot. My biggest problem like many others complain about when googles is the internet slow and unstable. Mine will not stay connected to the internet, my machine is 15 feet from the modem. I have the fastest business connection available with fibre optics in my area and yet I have to continuously reboot or disconnect and reconnect to the wifi every few minutes. Their internet card is horrible for some reason. I am passed the return by 4 days and stuck with this machine.My only recourse now to solve this problem is I have had to order and external wifi stick in hopes I can stay connected. Not what one would expect after spending $1000 with tax. Stay away pure junk!!
