Best Magsafe for SUV or Car, Using RAM Mount Arm and 17mm to 1″ Adapter
UPDATEI still love the amazing Belkin MagSafe car charger. My update is for a MagSafe case, one manufacturer, MagBak for iPhone 12, 13 and soon, 14. It is the strongest MagSafe case you can buy. Not on Amazon, go for it. A 12 with this case stuck in a lifted wrangler LJ, off road, amazing. Good luck.The research was hard and challenging to get the best wireless magnetic charger for both iphone XS max and iphone 13 pro. My requirements was 10+ watts of charging and strong magnetism, no phone drops over bumps. I own an Apple iPhone XS Max and Iphone 13s. I was looking for 10+ watts of charging, to be able to run WAZE and streaming, while driving. Also, driving a Jeep Wrangler SUV, the magnetism has to be strong for a phone not to drop. The Apple Magsafe puck charger is not stong. For the XS Max, I used a clear case and the stick on Sinjimoru M-Plate. For the Iphone 13 Pro’s, I used a good Magsafe case. The result Magnetism: Perfect and strong over large bumps, no phone drop. Charging: Using a USBC watt meter, both phones showed between 10-11 watts, amazing. The phones in their magsafe cases, also still work on the at home wireless chargers. One note, I wanted to use the Belkin in a RAM mount setup, using the dual 17mm to 1″ double RAM mount adapter, perfect. I have the Ram mounts with 1″ sockets and the adapter pops right into the Belkin. No need to use the vent mounts in my Jeep. The Belkin did such a great job, thinking of using in both my childrens cars that dont have the ability to use RAM mounts. Experience feedback, the magnetic cases for the XS Max are not strong enough. Use the Sinjimoru M-Plate and a thin case. The “best” Magsafe chargers, other than the Belkin, are not strong enough and dont provide 10+ watts of charging. The highly rated, ESR Halo, was strong, but I only measured 5 watts of charging. Summary: Use the Belkin Magsafe compatible charger, best magnetism and charging, use Sinjimoru M-Plate and thin case for XS Max, iphone 11/11Pro, and use a good quality Magsafe case for the Iphone 12/13. Worth buying it no magnetic stickers needed
It works good with iPhone Pro Max 13 with MagSafe cover. I am using it on Chevrolet Sonic AC air vents, it never fall of in last few day on bumpy roads. It charges well at same time using USB C cable and built it charger. if it fails to remain mounted on my car AC vents, I was thinking to use it as a table top charger but that will never happen I think

Wireless Charger Overheats even in cold overnights
Belkin is known to be a brand that stands behind their superior quality products. That being said, this devices does do everything that it says it does. However, the style of mount for the HVAC grills leave a lot more to ask for (they are ‘alright’ at best). In addition to that, the charger (wireless mounting side) overheats to a very concernable temperature, even on a cold evening with constant airflow from HVAC.It’s my first wireless mount and has become very handy and I don’t forsee myself going back to plugging in my device, unless it’s on longer trips and/or heavy usage to avoid the overheating of the wireless charger. Which, works fabulously on it’s own.. when not being used.. as a charger (ie: using a cable to phone instead)..I really wish I had used it more prior to the return period being expired, as I would have really liked to have returned it. But, regardless.. I will be searching for other mounts that don’t overheat nearly as much. (I fully understand heat is a byproduct of wireless charging.. but the temperature of the device in hand, is still very alarming to me)

El soporte me gusto mucho, es discreto, es pequeño y delgado. Ajusto muy bien, mi coche tiene ventilas horizontales y quedo muy bien. Realmente no se mueve ni se cae.Mi teléfono es un iPhone 13 pro max y estoy usando una funda original con MagSafe entonces eso ayuda a que quede fijo y no se mueva ni se caiga el teléfono. Naturalmente si caes en un bache en una calle de terracería o con muchas piedras se terminará cayendo pero en un uso normal en ciudad o carretera está perfecto.Lo compré con una promoción del buen fin y me salió mas barato pero aún así en su precio normal lo compraría, funciona muy bien y venía con un cable USB-C incluido. Lo que si no trae es el adaptador para el encendedor pero hay otra opción de Belkin también que trae las tres cosas. Yo ya había comprado uno de otra marca de alto rendimiento (U-Green) y funciona a la perfección pero no dudo que con el de Belkin funcione igual.Recomiendo usarlo así porque algunos coches ya tienen puertos USB y USB-C pero no es tan rápida la carga. Me he dado cuenta que en un lapso de una hora me carga el 50-60% de la batería de este teléfono, no dudo que con un teléfono mas pequeño como un iPhone normal de el 80-100% en ese tiempo.

Fonctionne parfaitement et charge plutôt rapidement sur mon iPhone (ça reste du 10W après tout). Il est surtout très pratique puisqu’il n’est plus nécessaire de brancher un câble ou de régler la position du téléphone comme sur un support classique. Il suffit simplement de poser le téléphone, et c’est bon.Le maintien est vraiment bon et permet de passer des ralentisseurs ou de rouler sur des routes endommagées sans craindre que le téléphone ne tombe.Couplé à CarPlay sans fils c’est vraiment parfaitJe recommande !
