This desk comes in parts in a large box. None of the wooden surfaces came scratched for damaged. I took my time to assemble this making sure I do not have the parts installed in backwards or incorrectly. Doing it right the first time is much easier than going back and dissembling it. The desk has a riser for monitors and can fit several. This leaves extra space for more items to fit on top of the desk. The shelve layers underneath give you extra storage to make best use of the space. The 2nd shelve is a metal grid and I wish it was particle board. The grid pattern makes it limited to what you can set on it. This is a well designed and manufactured work desk at this price range.
