    Made life easier, and cheaper
Our oculus cord broke from usage and slow charged with othe cords and batteries for the controllers never lasted long so we went though them quick.I love this setup. It’s to set up, looks way better too then the oculus just sitting charging on some cord. The oculus charges fast as well. You set it on the base and the magnet instantly connects to the piece you install in the headset. While it’s really small they do send you 2. It shows red when charging, while it will show red when fully charged at times but not a big deal, and changes colors when fully charged. The controllers where easy to set up with the rechargeable batteries and outside cover. There is light indicator on the base to show its charge level. As long as the connectors touch it charges. All the younger kids are able to set it on the charger base and it does it thing, youngest being 5 so very easy.

After trying a few different ones, I found a proper charging dock product.
Product works great. The magnet link isn’t magical but if you move it around a bit after setting it down (I’m talking like 1 second of wiggling it slightly) it will line up and start charging. The magnet port fill is extremely well-fitted for USB-C and very low profile, such that you don’t really see it looking at the headset after installed.Charging dock charges at what appears to be comparable speed to the included charger of the Quest 2 (which, unfortunately, isn’t the fastest– but nothing this product can do to improve that!)I also have the Kiwi headstrap, which works fine with this dock– no issues because it doesn’t have any wires you have to still run and plug in after docking. The only change I would request is if it would let you adjust (or shut off) the LEDs when not charging. There really is no need for constant bright blue 24/7, especially since it shows up the same if the charger isn’t connected or if the charging is full. It takes away from what otherwise appears to be a quality product.Edit:. I have now found a button which lets you toggle off the majority of the big red/blue charging LEDs… So the only thing I mentioned in my original review that I would change was already an element of the product that I missed. It is perfect and very fairly priced!

    It’s amazing!!
With the release of the Quest 3 I recently wanted to try to get back into my Quest 2 and give it another spin. Previously I stopped using it due to comfort and battery life issues. While this device doesn’t aim to fix the first problem, it makes the second problem nonexistent. Installing the rechargeable batteries and controller backing were as simple as you would imagine it to be. The charging dongle is also really nice since it basically makes it everything feel wireless which means you can pick it up and get started using it and put it back down just as easily. It has magnets as well which help with locating the charging sweet spot. The charging speed itself isn’t very quick from what I can tell but I’m not someone who uses all of the devices enough for them to constantly be running low. I also purchased a separate strap with an additional battery pack. I have to remove the charging dongle when I use that since the headset only has a single port.

    Controllers won’t charge
The concept is great but I think the contacts need to be bigger because they don’t seem to charge the controllers very well. One needs to be placed just right in the cradle and sometimes it will charge.

    Controllers won’t charge *edit*
Lasted about 3 months before the controllers stopped charging. I like the design of the charging station and how everything charges…if they were to charge that is.Edit*** I was able to fix the controllers not charging. Open the controller handle and spin the battery until you line up the charging pins (backside of battery cover) and the metal squares on the battery.

    Great for VR
It charges all three at the same time. The lights tell you when they are fully charged. Well worth the money I paid. It’s a good deal

Good in theory. Dangerous in use
I really thought this was going to be a great charging dock, but it turned dangerous after a month. What started out working great for a couple days, turned into a chore to get the left controller to charge. For a month we had to wiggle it in the charging dock to get the light to turn on and for it to start charging. Then after a month we would notice that the right side would be fully charged and blue, but the left would still be red. Picking up the left controller it would be incredibly hot. So hot the first time this happened it left red marks on my son’s hand. The last few times it was used I had to make sure that I looked at it before he grabbed it. Save your skin and sanity and avoid this charger.I reached out to the manufacturer and after a few days they replied asking for more information and a video. I promptly replied and then never heard back. Bad customer service and defective product.

I honestly cant seem to find anything to complain about
Bought this on a whim, looked cool, convenient and would get rid of the bigger box on my desk. As soon as I received the package I realized it was gonna be a quality product. It was packaged nicely with high quality materials. Got it open and I was right the materials definitely feel high quality, a heft to the base and the plastic replacement covers for the hand controllers accurately match that of the quest 2 original covers in quality, color and fit. The usb-c plug is a magnetic plug in so once u sit it on the base the magnetic power connector snap over to it without any issue. The overall design was well thought out. The usb-c is used for the magnetic power connector but can easily be removed if needed (pcvr link cable). I personally use air link so its of no consequence to me at all. Overall I gave this a 5 out of 5 because I can’t find a fault in it at all and Iv had it nearly a month now. The lights also have a easy access button to turn of the status lighting if need be. The status lighting has 2 levels red for charging and blue for charged an the controllers have 3 leds to signify how much charge is on the NOW rechargeable batteries. Great product I’m sure there’s other out there like it but this one I can assure you is high quality and I intend to order one for my fiance’s quest and our son’s quest as well.
