I own multiple over-ear ANC headphones, including Bose QC, and recently tried the POINTCINCO Bluetooth Headset V5.4. It exceeded my expectations, offering premium features at a fraction of the cost. With over 30 hours of use in a week, its outstanding battery life impressed me, and USB-C fast charging is a plus. The sound quality is soothing, noise cancellation is exceptional, and the microphone performs brilliantly even in noisy environments. It’s lightweight, comfortable for extended use, and pairs with two devices simultaneously via Bluetooth 5.4. Foldable design and professional packaging add convenience. A quality Bluetooth headset for the money.
The Pointcinco BLE headset has a surprisingly robust sound stage for being less than 30$. The bass has good depth, and the treble is crisp and clear. It may be me, but the mids where the two meet is not quite as strong, but it is only noticeable upon inspection. As with all things Bluetooth, there is an audio delay of half a sec or so. Gaming in split decision situations would not be advisable, but I have used them with less intensive games, movies, and music and had no issues. I have connected to phones and computers, and the process is painless. The announcement voice in the headphones is pleasant and clear.The microphone picks up very well, despite the lack of a boom, but that is also a drawback of it. Noise in your environment is also picked up very well. With boom Mics, you can put some sponge over the end to mitigate wind sounds from breath, breeze or your fan, but not with this. In a quiet environment, it would be great. I should also mention that nobody said they couldn’t hear me, just that they could also hear everything else.The headset is lightweight, and the faux leather muffs don’t press hard on the ears, but hard enough to seal the sound in. I have a very large head and had to open the set up all the way to fit, but it did fit. Battery life is very good and can last weeks if you are not using them constantly. I enjoy that there is a “fully charged” led prompt (LED goes off) to let you know to unplug and or that its ready to use.The set comes with a velvet pouch to keep them in, a charging cable, and an aux 3.5mm to 3.5mm male cable. The set can fold up to become somewhat flat and more compact. They fit in my laptop bag nicely.
