Volume is loud enough in my old 55 Chevy
I needed to replace my PLT E500 which has a weak battery. I wear my headset 15hrs a day so as not to miss call/texts/etc from clients/family/friends. Because I wear it all day, even when working on my car or yardwork I wanted something that is very comfortable. So far it has met all my requirements and I anticipate it will have good battery life but will have to reserve judgement for several months. I haven’t used it long enough to know all of the ends and outs, but I am satisfied so far. I wish it were a little more compact (half again larger than my PLT E500), but the price was so great it was well worth the experiment. I would recommend this for the price, loud volume and comfort of wearing.

Good bang for the buck
I’ve had a couple of these over the years and love them. For the price its a basic headset that has worked well for me. I work 2 to 3 days a week outside and go boating/fishing alot. They do the job, batteries last, and best of all if you put it in the washer with your fishing clothes you didnt lose an expensive headset. I just did that. So I just ordered another one. I did have one that lasted about 2 years before it crooked. Would recomend.

So far it’s equal to pricier options
Finally got a simple, cheap, and effective BT headset. Sound quality is great, better than the anything from plantronics under $100 IMO (i’ve used 4 models from them). The buttons do what they are supposed to. again, this is not a feature I’ve come to expect from headset theses days. I’m quite happy to have them working here.the ear funnel feels fine, better than others, but not shockingly great. This is really subjective, though, anyway. Seems stable even without the optional ear clip.It also has a lower profile than others (like the plantronics voyager line), so if you lay your head down on that side of your head, it doesn’t try to split your skull in half like some others ( i miss the PL explorer 50 for this reason. Their replacement, the 55, is absolute garbage). My only complaint is the buttons physically “click” pretty loud in your ear when you use them. This isn’t really a huge deal, but a minor annoyance. All headset have this issue, this one is on the louder range. I’m probably going to notice it more now that the buttons actually perform a function, so I can’t complain to much. This is a great buy. Very affordable and honestly surprisingly effective for the price. Time will tell how the overall durability performs. My old PLT50’s the holy grail of cheap and long-lasting headsets, lasted me 3 years, even after being rained on outside for a week. I hope these do the same (i will try not to leave them out in a parking lot this time, though lol).

Difficult to tell when it’s on/off
I purchased this BT earpiece to replace a Plantronics BT that finally stopped charging for my mother. The pairing of the device with her phone was straightforward. This was very nice as she can often times be technologically challenged and I serve as her personal tech-assistant and she did not need any help from me to pair the device with her phone. The sound quality is okay though it does seem to pick up a lot more of the background noise around the user during calls than her previous Plantronics BT.The biggest complaint both she and I have, is that there is no clear indication of whether the device is ON or OFF; the light does comes on (briefly) when powering it on and then it goes out. The main button functions for multiple purposes: On/Off, Answer/Hang-up, Pairing, etc.. So for my 75yo mother who might forget when she takes the earpiece out of her ear to turn it off, then puts it in her purse and a new phone call comes in, she thinks something is wrong with her phone since she can’t hear anything as the BT connection is still active in her purse. (Now I admit that is user error but a clear indication light might help her know it is still on.)Additionally, when powering on the device, there is simply a musical series of ascending tones (descending tones at power off) with no indication of how much battery life it has — all my previous experience with BT earpieces have given an indication of approximate hours remaining on the battery when initially turned on. Given these two complaints — lack of clear on/off and battery life — I will be continuing to search out a replacement for this Marnana BT; one with a separate on/off switch at least.

You can’t kill it!
I NEVER write reviews. Most of them are obviously, not to mention painfully, fake, and many times the review is next to useless.A review that says “This is great”, or “I like the color” is trivial. But I’ll tell you…I currently live in a city in Arizona, and about five years ago I lost my Marnana earpiece out in the garden. It fell off, I dropped it, who knows. It was gone.In the interim, I bought two other wireless earpieces, neither was that great, they broke, terrible sound, bad interface, they were replaced…But I like using an earpiece in combination with my phone so I kept looking online. So, two and a half years go by, and I found the Marnana earpiece out in the garden–actually one of my kids found it.It had been through two desert summers, two monsoon rainy seasons, and two desert winters–OUTSIDE!After brushing off the dirt, and wiping it down with a disinfectant wipe, I tried to power it on, expecting nothing. It powered up, connected to my phone, and had 40 percent charge remaining! That, is a great product, I don’t care where you are from.It lasted for almost another entire year, and when it finally refused to recharge or power up, you can be sure my next wireless earpiece purchase was a Marnana product.I actually have it on my desk, it no longer works but throwing it away just seems wrong. As long as this company keeps making devices, they have at least one loyal customer.
