It’s great that we’re moving to the USB-C standard but unfortunately not all USB-C cables are made equal. Sure, the connectors all look the same but there’s no way to know if you’re getting a USB data cable, USB power cable, a Thunderbolt cable, or some combination of those. I went through a lot of USB-C cables in my car to use with CarPlay. Some only charged the phone. Some only sent data. Others did both but would not work consistently.Luckily these must be MFi certified because they consistently provide both power and data transfer when connected to my 2016 Volkwagen’s CarPlay USB port. I’m very happy with this and that it came as a two pack in case one gets lost or if I happen to get a second car that supports CarPlay.

These are basic no-nonsense cables that just work. I got the 3 ft ones as they are a good all-around length, but need to pick up a couple of longer ones too. No complaints.

Great backup cord
I’m always losing my charging cords, or they wear out, so I got these as spares. Keep one in the car, one in the suitcase. They work fine and charge my Google Pixel 8 phone and other gadgets with no problem. Good value for the price.

Usb to iphone
With an updated iPhone itâs hard to keep up with changing ports and our car still has the usb as the only option so these were great to have for emergencies and for our headphones too. I love having extras

These cables work great for the new iPhone. I like that itâs a USB as well because my car has old ports. The length is perfect for the car. Long enough so that you can take a call, but also not too long that it gets in the way. Itâs a good quality cable. I like that it comes with two. I often run out of cables. I like to keep extras. It charges my phone rather quickly as well. It also works with my Apple CarPlay.
