Very stylish and functional
Iâm very impressed with this version of smart frames. The partnership with Carrera also works. The sunglasses look great and nobody can tell they are anything other than regular sunglasses while Iâm wearing them.Here are a few impressions after a couple of weeks of wearing them:Audio: sound quality is very good. It lacks bass when compared to AirPods Pro but you are not wearing anything in your ear, which is very nice. At mid volume, nobody around you can hear music or your calls. If you put at full volume, people about 3 ft away can hear a faint sound. 8/10Call quality: just like the audio above, the quality is very good. The mic is clear and it filters ambient sounds better than my AirPod Pros. Given this is also an Alexa device, thatâs good news. 10/10Functionality: I must say, I canât work the buttons on the frame too well (big fingers) but Iâm yet to need them. You put the glasses on and they just work. If you need to adjust anything like volume, you just ask Alexa. It controls your phone, opening certain apps. More functional than Siri with AirPods. I was able to make/change appointments, get directions, calls people and get answers using just voice. 10/10Privacy: Iâm glad Amazon didnât go the Meta/Rayban route and kept this without cameras. Iâd not like to walk around with a camera pointed to everyone. When the mic is recording voice, you see a blue light on the corner of your eye. Very nice to check when itâs on, without being intrusive. While it has a mute button for Alexa, Iâm yet to consistently find it while Iâm wearing the glasses. 9/10Charging: it comes with a very weird looking wireless stand. It takes a could of tries to figure out how to out the glasses on it. Itâs nice charging is all wireless, it works for hours (with calls and listening to music) without need to recharge (I have not done a full battery life test yet). I wish it had a more mainstream charger but not a dealbreaker. 8/10Quality: I got the Carrera version and itâs a very high quality and stylish product. It fits nicely, lightweight, and looks the part. 10/10Overall: given the price, quality and functionality, Iâd give this a 9/10.

Very good functionality and looks. Nose bridge measurements inaccurate
I have a wide nose bridge and got these based on a measurement that I know works for my nose. But they donât fit properly. I had to buy separate padding to make them stay well positioned on my face while I walk. That padding had to be custom cut to fit, and itâs now fallen off twice. Itâs fixable but annoying. Otherwise, these work very well for both music and phone calls, and they look really premium too. Just be mindful of the nose bridge measurements, and if they donât fit comfortable after you walk, return them early.

Honest personal echo frame review after having for a year
I have had my glasses for almost a year now. The sound quality may be better but the overall functionality of the echo frames since the 3rd generation was released has dropped considerably. The app only lets you call associates who have alexa app installed now as a standard function, whether your on version 2 or 3.For the 3rd generation faults, there is no touch pad like on version 2, the alexa command will go off randomly at times for no reason, the glasses slide down my face each day i wear them compared to version 2 which did not ( I even followed the instructions for the bending of frames to make them fit better).-The biggest fault is that you cannot replace the charger or buy a second so if your charger breaks or gets lost for any reason you lose out on charging your frames unless you want to buy a new pair. This is the biggest issue of all as the frames will only charger on that one charging stand and will not charge using any other device.

Stylish & Functional
My new favorite pair of sunglasses. The ability to listen to music or make calls without having earbuds jammed into your ear is amazing. These are also great if you already have echo devices and connected âsmartâ products. I use these over all of my other sunglasses. Great for wearing while walking the dog or just out and about running errands. I expected the frames to be somewhat bigger than normal sunglasses but they arenât. You canât even tell there is some magical tech inside. The only problems is that I love these so much now I need to buy regular frames without a tint so Iâm not that guy wearing sunglasses inside. Great product!

Iâve been waiting for these glasses since the announcement and itâs so worth it. From the moment of opening the box to connecting the other my phone, I was absolutely amazed how beautiful these glasses are. Set up is super easy, music is amazing and there is nothing inside your ears! Phone calls are so much easier too!

Good, with one major flaw.
The main reason I purchased these was their headphone functionality, and in that respect they work well. The Black Cruiser Carrera frames look good, and fit my face well.However the charger, however stylish, is a little cumbersome, awkward to use does not travel well. In the future, or in Gen 4, having a smaller, lighter charging option would be nice.
