(resolved with Corsair) – Worked fine for almost a month then barely any sound coming through
Update 8/23/24: Worked with corsair. I needed to download iCUE (which I’m not a huge fan of 3rd party stuff to get stuff to just work) and make sure the firmware was updated to the newest version. Once I did this, after some trial and error, the headphones are back to working as they were before. I thank Corsair’s customer service for realizing it wasn’t my setup and directing me properly. I am changing to 4 stars because of this. Good set of headphones/mic and the sound quality is great; but I do not like that it seems there are compatibility with windows updates (more windows fault but still annoying) as well as their firmware updates needing to go through iCUE make it not a perfect solution.I got these last month, tested them and they worked great. I originally would have reviewed at 5 stars. Didn’t think too much of it when I got rid of the original package they came in.Yesterday the sound basically gets super low on audio output. I ran the windows troubleshooter, updated all drivers, tried different ports, tried on a different machine, did a soft reset, recharged them, and then tested windows sound through speakers, my old corsair headphones, as well as on the laptop itself and those were fine. It was like it lost all ability to actually control the volume and was set at one low sound. I now have everything set to 100 and it is still quiet. I use just the normal wireless capability (not the bluetooth). I tried going to return it but amazon says they don’t accept anything without an original package. And, of course, all the troubleshooting options talk about no sound at all, only out of one ear, or microphone issues, nothing having to do with my issue.I checked Corsair’s support site and they basically give you all the steps and blame your setup. It is not the setup. Windows works with all the other devices I have and worked fine with the headphones until yesterday. They have never been mishandled and are always treated with care on my desk. I’m very frustrated that such an expensive accessory basically stopped working after a month. My $20 set at my work desk has lasted longer. Clear and loud enough sound is integral to both conduct work/training/meetings and game effectively.I think they are defective and will also contact Corsair tomorrow. I wanted to write this review today mostly to warn others of this issue that I experienced. I’m assigning a “2” since they technically “work” unless customer service can help me address this.

Looks nice and sounds good when it works
I love the look of this headset and the audio quality is good. However the icue software is complete garbage and so is their wireless dongle.This headset will stop being recognized by your pc after a couple hours use and you will have to reinsert the dongle to fix it. I have been sent a replacement dongle and used it on multiple computers but the problem persists. I believe it is an icue problem and they don’t seem to care to update/address it.Blue tooth bypasses the dongle and you won’t have this issue but the audio quality on Bluetooth is a very noticeable downgrade. Sounds like a 30 dollar headset. Should be plug and play for the price but something with their software doesn’t want to play nice.

Refurbished and damaged are two different things and the item also arrived missing usb dongle which is a key component for wireless connection.

Lets start with the Pros:Good Sound QualityOkay/Good Microphone QualityComfortableFlexibleBattery LifeAnd now the Cons:Clearly not durableIn my experience the microphone would randomly not work/disconnect. This was evident by my mic not working and a beeping sound coming from every time I flipped up and down my mic. I would have to fix this by opening ICUE-turning off and on my headset-turning bluetooth pairing on and off. A whole hassleThe headset being a B…. to connect sometimesI looked up many problems and there really was no way to fix it, or no clear way. I am never buying from this company again.

Ich bin wirklich begeistert.Hatte schon viele Headsets in meiner Gaming Laufbahn und das hier überzeugt mich wirklich sehr.Der Sound ist bombe. Man hört alle Stepps bei Fps Games.Akku hält lange. Bluetooth Reichweite ausreichendIch kann nur empfehlen das headset zu kaufen!
