    Very high-end
It’s a really of good quality. Noticeably more affordably than a well-known competitor in TKL keyboards. One caveat though is that Space button seems to not be well-lubricated so it’s definitely louder than other keys. Otherwise, a high-end device.

    Hampered by software issues
Keyboard itself is great. Some part of me misses the ten-key but I also do have an external one so it’s not that big of a deal.My main issue was the difficulty it took to get the software installed. iCue. Some people might experience it, some people might not. The software would not install at all. It turns out that it’s a known issue with iCue and you have to find & download an earlier version of the software. Many functions are locked behind the software including the backlight in my experience.

    a premium experience
Perhaps it goes without saying, but this is a high quality keyboard with features that will help you play video games. The build quality of the keyboard is premium. High quality plastics on the body with an aluminum face. Nice LEDs that look smooth and evenly lit. Note that the LEDs are north side. Buttons, knob, and keycaps that look nice and are clear of little defects you might find on lesser products. It’s got a good weight to it—I wonder how much of it is just extra ballast to make it feel heavy and not move around so easily. The magnetic switches are superb and feel great with very smooth travel. They are a bit firm; 55g linear sounds about right.I appreciate that they can fit a standard layout 6 rows TKL in this tight of a package. The shape of the keyboard is nice, and the wrist rest is surprisingly decent as well. The magnetic attachment of it is really cool and holds it in place very wellOf course, it’s the special gaming features that really make this keyboard special. 8000Hz polling, pressure sensitive switches, all the adjustments and customization possible through the software, etc. I’m not going to rehash all the points, just that those features actually do work and it’s great!iCUE seems better now than what I remember using a few years back as well. On-board profiles are wonderful too on this board, with support for saving a good range of customization options without iCUE running or even installed. There are a handful of things I’m not loving about the keyboard. Pretty trivial, nothing product-breaking but I’ll vent here a little bit:1. Don’t love the location of the caps and scroll lock indicators. They’re in the upper left corner next to the Esc key which can make them hard to see depending on your positioning and arrangement.2. Some wireless connectivity would have been nice. I realize the primary user / use-case for this is gaming and we like hardwired connections, but I personally am not gaming every moment I sit at the computer.3. The installed ABS keycaps are nice but I think PBT would be better. I see Corsair has a PBT version for $10 more. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t think two versions of the same keycaps need to be offered. In conclusion, this is cool. 😎

    Icue strikes again.
The build quality seemed good. Nice and heavy. The wrist pad is nice. The keys move smoothly but once again icue is a crap program. The description to program the keys is vague and not user friendly. After some time I figured it would it with trial and error and it worked great for a day. I only programmed the “W” key to walk and run. I tried to make the “C” key to crouch and go prone but it was jenky. It would only go prone if you held the key down or tapped it just right. The next day I got online to play only to find out it wouldn’t run with the “W” key anymore. I had to reprogram the key again to make it work. Low and behold the next day it did it again. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Icue multiple times to get it to work. Icue software is great for changing colors but that’s about it. If Corsair could build software as good as they build their products, I might buy their products again. Until then, I’m done trying to use Corsair if Icue is involved.

    Excellent keyboard
The Corsair K70 PRO is a great keyboard. I’ve been using it for over a month and am very pleased with the build quality and typing feel. I am coming from a keyboard that uses brown switches, so I was initially concerned about switching from a tactile typing experience to a linear one, but it didn’t take long for me to get used to the new switches. The switches are great when gaming as there is not as much resistance as when using more tactile switches, meaning I can react faster. This keyboard also allows you to individually set the actuation point of each key which is very cool. They are also much quieter than my old keyboard. The included palm rest is very comfortable, and the magnets are strong enough to keep it attached when using the keyboard normally. You can use the ICUE software to change the RGB lighting and other settings, and the keyboard has built-in memory to store a few profiles so you don’t have to run the software all the time. It also means you can share the keyboard across multiple devices and retain the settings. The only complaint I have is that it does not include any USB passthrough ports on the back. If they could add a few in future versions that would be great.

I’ve been using a corsair keyboard of some denomination for gaming for a good few years now, and this latest offering does not let down whatsoever. Let me start with the one and only complaint I have about this- and bear in mind it’s not enough to strip a star. I wish that it had the TKL layout of the regular K70. This one strips the top bar of the regular k70 that had things like volume and media control for compactness and instead slices away the Printscreen, scroll lock and pause break buttons to slot them in there. This loses some functionality like the full media controls (you only get the volume dial) and obviously you lose 3 buttons that you’ll have to reprogram if you need. I could understand wanting to make it more compact, and it definitely is, but if they were going to do so I would have preferred they moved the insert/home/end group of buttons down and kept the 3 buttons. There is enough room above the arrow keys for it, after all. That being said, everything else about this keyboard is amazing. This is my first magnetic/hall effect board, and being able to completely customize your actuation point is absolutely amazing. To finally have a corsair keyboard with the functionality is everything I’ve been waiting for since things like rapid trigger came to my attention, and they nailed it already. Everything in ICue is easy to set up, and while really low actuation points can be difficult to do things like type with (when so much as touching a key registers a keypress), it’s great for gaming, and so the gaming mode (which I usually ignore on keyboards) finally has an actual, undeniable use case for me.The lighting is as high end as on other keyboards I owned, which is great since I was a bit worried about it by the picture provided, and the keycaps are high quality, though they lack the extra wasd keys I’m used to from corsair, which was a little disappointing.. even if I rarely used those keys anyway.Overall, if you’re a hardcore gamer you won’t be disappointed by this keyboard. I wish I had been given the chance to receive the full sized one to fully replace my K100, but I am far from let down by this more compact option giving me more mousepad room for when I really want to lock in on a competitive gaming session. And really, how often do you use the numpad anyway? Overall this is a fantastic keyboard, and I know what I’ll be recommending in the future to anyone looking for the best gaming keyboard one can buy.

Always been a fan of corsair keyboards and this one is brilliant.Build quality is really top tier.If researching all the specs and cherry switches on different gaming keyboards drives you crazy then just know this feels AMAZING to type and play on. Absolute best part of the keyboard is actually pressing the keys. It’s not loud or clicky at all, it feels crispy and satisfying while having the nicest dampened clicks. Touch typing is a breeze as each key press registers without applying much pressure while also not being too light that you’re not sure if the press went off. You feel exactly when each key press is being registered while still being amazingly smooth. You can also edit how hard you need to press each key before it registers in the ICUE software.Coming from a super clicky keyboard which was starting to do my head in – the sound of each press on this is orgasmic. Turn volume up in the video to get an idea (won’t be as good as in person). It’s got that classic corsair aluminum solid look and feel. Also it’s fairly heavy which makes it feel expensive rather which i love compared to the cheap plastic light weight keyboards.Haven’t gone deep into the ICUE software yet and honestly don’t really need to.Volume and media buttons are great, colors and options are great especially being able to change colors, brightness, effects and heaps more with pure keyboard shortcuts.Always had full sized keyboards but this totally changed my opinion on ten key less and smaller boards.Still includes the arrow keys so this is the absolute perfect size.I don’t want to stop writing the review because typing is just so satisfying!!!!

I have used many gaming keyboards throughout the years, and by far, Corsair’s K70 Pro has quickly become one of my favourites. When the keyboard arrived it was in a Corsair box, which showcases the keyboard, and highlights all of its features. Inside the box, the keyboard and wrist support were separately wrapped in packaging paper. The cable was nicely coiled and held together using a velcro strap. Everything included in the box is extremely high-quality. The keys are tactile, the keyboard frame is durable, and the cable is long enough to accommodate any setup configuration. The first thing that stood out to me was the keyboard’s rapid trigger mode. The rapid trigger mode allows your keys to have ultra-fast polling rates. This allows you to shift your key’s actuation and reset points, which enables sudden movements and instant direction changes. This feature gives you an extreme advantage in competitive games, allowing you to make sudden and fast movements. I also like the keyboard game mode. The game mode is another feature that increases your advantage in games. It reduces input lag tremendously. Finally, I like the feel and comfort of this keyboard. The keys are not too tactile, and the RGB is the perfect brightness (can be adjusted). I also love the feel of the wrist rest; it is very comfortable. One thing I do wish however is that the input cable was braided.Overall, at the product’s current price point of $249.99 CAD, I would highly recommend this keyboard. It is very high quality, has some amazing features that are not on most keyboards, and is very comfortable to use. If you are in the market for a new gaming keyboard, definitely give this one a try.

Right out of the box this thing is impressive and screams premium quality. It’s hefty and built like a tank but compact as it’s in tenkeyless format, so it saves space on the right (although I do miss pressing the enter key withmy right pinky). The RGB effect is beautiful and light intensity is amazing (can be programmed via icue) with direct manual RGB controls on the keyboard itself. The volume knob gets extra points for coolness! The magnetic switches can be programmed to have different actuation levels to customize it for your preference and has flashtap included via shortkeys.Typing feels really good with nice tactile feedback. It also has sound dampening built in so it’s very quiet versus most entry level keyboards.Overall I would 100% recommend the K70 Pro both for gaming and everyday use.

Whether you are typing for office work or hardcore gaming, this keyboard feels like an outstanding tool for the job. The keys feel premium (obviously PBT keycaps). The switch is a very smooth linear with a pleasant sound that is not overly loud. The adjustment feature allows you to do a short-throw press which is nice for those that prefer the feel of a silver switch rather than a red switch. The wrist rest is good but I do prefer my own. Typing and gaming feels fast and accurate. Responsiveness is outstanding as expected. The RGB lighting works great with the Corsair iCue software. The board is weighty and is substantial-feeling. It’s an outstanding premium keyboard.
