Bone conduction headphones allow an open and natural listening experience by transmitting sound through the skull instead of produced output in standard speakers. The x14 Sport set is great if you’re looking for hands free listening that’s comfortable and can survive for an extended battery life.This set charges quickly via USB-C and takes about 20-30 minutes to charge fully in my experience. The overall listening ability depends on a few factors like how high you set the volume, the strength of your bluetooth signal and even style of music or media. My husband uses these at work in an office position and he’s able to listen to his favorites on Spotify all day with and even pumps up the volume for a lunchtime workout so rarely does he need to recharge til home.I got a set for both of us and I’m impressed with the quality of the construction and the available audio experience itself. I’m a huge audio guy with all the earbuds, headphones and speakers you can think of but I like to shift these into rotation for their comfort. They can wear for really long periods and you don’t have a clue they’re there.On top of the easy wear and lightweight frames, the open sound technology means that you can still hear and be aware of everything around you when necessary. It’s similar to using the ANC function on earbuds without full noise cancellation toggled on.They’re great for work, working out and having conversations with those around you at the same time. The bluetooth connectivity is really impressive for a device in this price range and honestly I would compare it to any quick connect capable fast-pair device. While it doesn’t technically have the multi-point technology to seamlessly shift from one source to another you can easily hit the a button to enable pairing and the auto-connect memory kicks in nicely.I have used these paired to my Google Pixel 8 Pro, Acer Chromebook 516 GE, Google TV, LG TV and even tried them out on my Kindle Paperwhite. I didn’t have an issue with any of these devices and they all played as expected and maintained a strong connection throughout.I would definitely recommend giving these guys a go. You won’t be sorry for the serious quality, overall sound and versatility. Check ’em out!

Decent sound, surprisingly comfortable, questionable battery life
I bought these to replace a set of damaged Shokz OpenRuns, so I’m going to compare the two. I liked the shokz, but was looking for a cheaper option.Good stuff: These are more comfortable than the Shokz, while also sitting more snugly over my ears, reducing extra vibrations at higher volumes. The sound is good, not amazing, but good enough for the day-to-day background listening I use them for. The sound is rather mids-focused, but both voice and music are clear and pleasant. Slightly worse than the Shokz, but for the price they’re much better than I expected. I also like the USB-C charging – the Shokz had a proprietary cable.Less good stuff: standby battery life isn’t very good. They last through the day even if I’m listening a lot, but if I take them off and let them sit for any length of time the battery is dead when I put them back on. Not a problem if I charge them every night, but it’s not the several days I got from the Shokz.Next, and It’s a minor nitpick for me, but the electronics enclosures behind the ears are a bit large, but this may be to partly to accommodate the USB port. For the price, I can’t complain though.Overall I recommend them as a budget or starter option for bone conduction headphones.
