Hard drive died within a year.
Nice machine, but the Kingfast SSD used for the C boot drive is junk. It worked fine for about 11 months, then poof: random reset and then it could not boot. Looking at setup… the storage drive in the PCIe was just gone. Bought another and trying to recover windows now with a new drive, but this is new to me and hard. No way to contact the seller. The ad says the computer comes with support, but no it only links to dell support. So I’m on my own. Not happy.

So far so good!
I use this for business so I’m probably a light user. But it is plenty fast and has plenty of power for my needs. The brightness is as expected and i have two monitors hooked up. It was easy to setup with plenty of usb ports and it’s compact. This is my 3rd pc from amazon renewed and all have been great!

Fast Delivery, Works perfectly
The computer works very well, using it now. The only problem was the keyboard supplied did not work even after trying various battery swaps. No big deal. I’m just using my old keyboard and mouse.

Turns on but nothing happens
I was so excited to get this desktop up and running but once it was fully connected it said Dell on my screen and then went black. Everything is on and powered so not sure what happened there. I spoke to Amazon Support and he says it sounds like the motherboard and is having me return it. Pretty bummed, Iâve been looking forward to hooking it up all week-side note, shipping was quick. Also there is a dongle plugged into the back and another taped to the top of the desktop with no info, no idea what they are for. The mouse and keyboard are super cheap as well and white instead of matching the desktop with black but thatâs more cosmetics than anything. Overall condition in regards to appearance it looks good, some small scratches but nothing major. The monitor and all cords attached are new, I asked tech support if I was maybe missing a cord and after telling him whatâs connected, he said no. In the video, thatâs the first time it does the Dell/black screen twice.

Excellent refurb
I was able to confirm that after a number of days of burn in and general operation, my particular Optiplex 7050 refurb performs exactly as it is supposed to and is cosmetically flawless. (I’ve had new computers that were DOA.) A recent gen i7, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, 2TB HDD, and they threw in a wireless keyboard and mouse. Short of competition gaming or working for NASA, how much more do most folks need? If there’s a weak point, it’s the Intel integrated graphics, which is not really that bad, but can be improved greatly by adding a dedicated video card – most of which cost more than the entire cost of this computer, which was under $300! The refurb company, STG Global, was very communicative, and offers excellent aftercare, if necessary or desired. If you get lucky with a flawless unit, you will be as happy as I am.

In very good shape I slap in 2x 1TB SSD unplugged the cd-rom drive and put in a RX 6400 gpu and shes working great! I managed to take off that secured boot style windows 10 and put NixOS cause GNU/Linux is the only way to go with all my computers 😉 Only really problem is that HDD LED light doesint work, but oh well.
