Customers find the notebook computer offers good value for the price. It’s well-made and durable, with a decent hard drive for its size. They appreciate its speed and responsiveness. Many like its weight and appearance. However, some have issues with the battery life and power on/off issues. There are mixed opinions on the boot speed and scratch resistance.

Great laptops!
Computer arrived sooner than expected. Initially thought it might be brand new! Laptop is a nice small design and lighter than expected. Feels like a quality built machine. Smart reader a big plus. Screen was bright and clear, battery charged to 100% and after 2 hours of use was down to 84%.Purchased a second one because I was so impressed with the first. Box arrived and first thing I noticed was no smart card reader! That (for me at least) is a deal breaker. Sending it back now, wish I could just get a replacement instead of a refund but no option for that. Will update later…UPDATE – Sent the second laptop back and was able to contact the seller. They agreed to send me a new one instead of refund and purchase again. Just got it today and gave it a test drive. Great little machine! And yes, the smart card reader is there and works great. Highly recommend this laptop. Great customer service!

Excellent laptop for the price
Paid a total of $298.51 (incl. taxes) for this laptop.Condition was very good, and getting Windows setup was very quick. Everything is very fast and responsive. Battery life seems to be OK. I used the other day for a couple of hours and I had no issues.Keep in mind that I wasn’t trying to push the laptop to its limits or anything. I intend to use this laptop for basic tasks, and as such if the battery performance isn’t great, I have no issues with that because I don’t mind it keeping plugged in.I did not notice a lot of bloatware, expect for rubbish apps that come installed with Windows on default.I thoroughly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a laptop for basic office work (email, zoom calls, web browsing etc.).

Nice refurbished laptop, very good for the price
As of the second day: This Dell latitude dates from 2017 but came looking very clean and well packaged. The only giveaway to it not being new was one missing screw out of 6 underneath. Windows installed very smoothly and then I replaced it with linux mint right away. The only issue is that a couple of the keys (8&9) are unreliable and sometimes need a second press. I can learn to live with that.

be weary of amazon refurbished…
laptop came packed nice, but was dirty inside and out. we are not taking about some “dust”, no. the laptop had dirt on the side and dirt and grit on the back, keyboard and screen. i forgave that, and cleaned it up with some wipes, and it was good to go. unfortunately as it turned out that was the least of my problems. the pc was set up already, but as a rule of thumb, i allways reset to factory specs any pc i receive. the setup went fine, no issues. but after that, when i attempted to change the time and date, it would immediately shut down. i went straight to event viewer ( i am a tech after all) and the same thing would happen. i spent about an hour and a half getting over to the dell website, to update, and attempt windows updates…every single time it would shut down. not just turn off, no, it would close whatever i was doin, give me a screen with “windows is shutting down” and then turn off…i REALLY wanted this pc to work…form factor wise it was perfect, all i needed to do, was upgrade the ram to 16 from the 8 it had, then later upgrade the hard drive and this would of been my daily driver…but, no matter how much i wanted it, it wasnt meant to be…searching on line thru the various forums ( reddit, tom’s hardware, dell, microsoft, etc, etc) i discovered that many MANY others where having this issue with this model…i thought i had fixed it, when i installed dell’s thermal driver, but every time i attempted to run steam, or shadow pc, it would do the gracefull shut down and leave me disappointed and frustrated…as it is, i have it next to me as i write this packed up in the box it arrived in, and will be dropping it off later this afternoon…smh

Replacement Laptop
It has decent RAM (8 GB expandable), fairly fast i5 CPU, 256gb Solid State Drive, and the perfunctory bells and whistles for home use, which is what it is for. I do Digital Forensics, teach CyberSecurity, etc., and I’m pretty happy with this little workhorse for what we’re using it for. Couldn’t beat the price, shipped lightning quick, appears to be brand new (!), very little keyboard use, no screen scratches, etc., etc. All told, would rather have an HP, but like I said, this little guy more than fills the bill for backup household use. The SSD contributes to a faster bootup for Windows 10 as well.

Dell Latitude E7270
I purchased this refurbished Dell Latitude E7270 for my mom after her last laptop crashed. Unfortunately, it was right around Motherâs Day, and someone else beat me to the punch and gifted her with a brand new laptop for twice the price from a local retailer, so she totally missed out. I didnât want to spoil her other gift, so I never told her about it and just kept it for myself. I figured Iâd just keep it as a spare / backup just in case something happened to my MacBook, or maybe if I needed to run Windows for something. But hereâs the funny part (sorry Mom) â though it was several years old, refurbished, and half the price, it has a far superior processor to the one she got brand new for twice the price. It came with a decent M2 card, so I didnât bother swapping that, but I did throw in a 16GB memory upgrade from Crucial for about $40. After that, this little guy now runs Windows 10 and everything Iâve thrown at it (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and some moderately intensive voxel gaming) like a champ. One thing I have to say that really stood out about this laptop was how clean it was. It showed some signs of wear, but it was like brand new. Not a speck of dust anywhere. It was packaged very nicely, almost like a brand new laptop. So, I hope the seller I got it from gets this review because they are awesome. Anyway, not much more to say. For less than $200 all in total with the memory upgrade, I feel like this deal was a steal and I would happily buy from this seller again!

I’m so glad that I bought the renewed Dell Latitude E7270. I’d like reorder another one but the price is now CAD $250.00 instead of CAD $199.99 I paid for it.

Satisfied with this
