I received the shipment on time. The PC was easy to setup and performance meets my expectations for a general purpose PC. The monitor screen was damaged during transit and when I contacted the seller (PrimeTimeBuys) through Amazon they immediately responded and offered a replacement monitor. Everything else works and looks like a brand new computer. This is the second PC that I have purchased from this seller and highly recommend making purchases through Amazon PrimeTimeBuy.

NEVER AGAIN!
I purchased this unit to replace an existing Dell computer that had become incompatible with almost everything due to Windows VISTA as its operating system. I was hesitant about purchasing a refurbished system but a need to save money and positive reviews convinced me to buy. This unit arrived with the serial number blacked out, no paperwork of any kind including a receipt or invoice and in an unmarked box. Despite this, the initial set up seemed okay. 3 months later the screen displayed a blank blue screen with an error message while resuming activity from an idle state. Efforts to address the issue including restarting, rebooting and completely shutting down the system yielded no positive results as the unit maintained that it had shut down incorrectly. The remaining option given was to reinstall the operating system. Although personal files were maintained as Windows 10 reinstalled, all imported software was lost and it took several days to get the system fully operational again. Less than 2 months later as I sat watching a YouTube video the screen went black, system shut down and unit powered off. All efforts to power it back on failed. The extended warranty I had purchased through Square Trade would not accept a claim because it was under a year and supposedly under warranty with the manufacturer. Dell’s warranty had been invalidated because it was a refurbished system. Since the purchase was through a third party merchant, Amazon could only refer me to them. It was beyond 30 days after purchase so Blair Technologies refused to give me a refund but maintained that I could ship the unit to them at my expense and their technicians would try to get it running. Then ship it back, again at my expense. So after spending a lot of money in shipping costs, I end up with a doubly refurbished unit that I don’t trust to begin with. I gave up, accepted the loss and purchased a brand new computer from Dell directly yesterday.

So far so good, not crazy about the keyboard but it works, the computer is great runs life brand new. My other computer took a nosedive that I bought on here over 5 years ago, so really happy with this. I even got my printer up and running and it is an older printer maybe 5 years old. I know most people like laptops but I like desk tops.

Works well for home use.
Very usable computer. More than fast enough for my home use, e mail, watching videos, surfing web, word processing, etc. Don’t think it would be fast enough for gamers though. Mine came with DVD writer, but I don’t know if that is always the case. Does not come with WIFi dongle, so you might want to order one at the same time. (CPU fan is fine); I fixed this myself.3) Network card would only function at 10/100, and not Gigabit speed. (not a Driver or Bios issue); Verified by also trying Linux. (this is an unforeseen and rare issue, and they could not be expected to test for it)SOLUTION:- Called them on the phone, they instantly Apologized and offered a Manually tested replacement Computer with expedited shipping, and he even offered to let me speak with the technicians to give them input myself!- Due to my short timeline; We very quickly negotiated .. and they are sending me Expedited replacement parts (rather then a whole system).. at my request. IMO, its simply easier for everyone.I firmly believe that my issues are not a common occurrence, and they genuinely DO care about their clients! Totally stand up Company! Everything works as expected. Product has all the inputs and outputs needed, including legacy serial and parallel ports, plus PS2 mouse and keyboard ports if needed. USB keyboard and mouse included, although not mentioned in product description. It is super quiet, too. I am very pleased with my purchase. I needed to upgrade from Windows 7 anyway. For only about $130 more than buying Windows 10 software, I have a whole new PC and keep my old Win 7 PC still in working condition for as long as I want.

I ordered this product Dec 27 2020. It arrived slightly earlier than expected. I inspected the hardware before plugging it in, and added a cheap GPU (GeForce GT 710 2GB). The internal cable management looked good. Part of the back grille was a little loose, but snapped in properly with ease.Came with Windows 10 pre-installed.Came with a keyboard, used, probably the one they used to configure the software.No odd noises, problems booting up, unexpected shutdown, or data loss. No noticeable heat issues.Good value for the price.I use my PC’s mostly for gaming and video, both of which it does acceptably without undue delay. The games I play tend to have been released before 2015, but often include heavily modded RPG’s, for which I tend to see an acceptable 20-40 FPS. Online multiplayer also handles well, the main bottleneck being my outdated router.A new user may wish to install the latest DirectX and Microsoft C++ packages, as these are common, but in this case do not come pre-installed. I will probably replace the HDD with an SSD in the near future, and add some cheap RAM.
