Got this about 4 months ago (its 6/8/2024 today) and I had zero problems with it so far and I am quite happy with it and its overall performance is very good for the price. If anything changes, I will come back here and give an Update… So far I can say in general Dell computers hardly ever disappoint me…

Knocking off 1 star.Advertised as i7 8700k, in reality is i7 8700.Advertised as 16 GB ram, actually 8GB.VERY pleased with the condition and aesthetics, almost perfect, excellent cleanliness. 512 GB nvme ssd drive is an awesome surprise. I would definitely recommend others to buy and i will use this vendor again!!

Item as described, with the exception of the processor…
The desktop that I received was in excellent condition. A little scuffing on the case, but that was expected with it being a refurbished/renewed machine. Seller had installed 16 GB (8GBx2) of Crucial brand RAM, and had included the Dell Optional Card which added an HDMI port to the back panel.The only problem I had with this sale was that it was advertised to have an i7-8700K installed. After checking in the device manager/dxdiag and opening the case and removing the heat sink to check the actual chip, this computer arrived with only an i7-8700 @ 3.2GHz (not the “K” version @ 3.7 GHz, which is also overclockable). I’m using this PC as a NAS box, so overclocking was not crucial. However, the additional computing power wouldn’t have hurt, and the seller should probably update the listing to be correct.

TeK Refurbs is a company that stands by their product
The computer arrived within 5 days – very good. I took pictures of everything – box-PC etc. All in very good shape no dents, scratches etc. Dell Workstation came with Windows 10 Pro – included upgrade to Windows 11 ( Home or Pro?) Load Belarc Advisor and you will find out…Windows 11 Pro – CPU as stated – RAM as stated – WI-FI USB included – SSD as stated. The only “problem” was a missing DVD Rewriter – NO problem as a call to Tek Refurbs corrected this. Companies should encourage their employees to give a name since now I can thank Lindsy and Bob for doing a great customer service. The DVD was mailed out the day of the call and arrived (after a Holiday) a day later – perfect! Today, customer reviews are a real problem – as I told Lindsy, the company VIPs need to check what is being placed on the Internet. If their have been past problems those comments need to be corrected. I seem to have a very good deal – time will tell.

Solid box
Great quality, solid performance. I am using it as a Plex media server and it does the job nicely. Supports up to three 3.5″ HDD plus the 500Gb NVME SSD for the O/S with a DVD drive makes it perfect for the task. Very quiet running idle. Great price too

Blue Iris Server! Core i7-8700 Hexa-core 3.2 GHz, 16GB RAM
I picked up the Core i7-8700 Hexa-core 16GB ram version for $274.35. It came clean and works great. I am currently running Blue Iris 5 with CodeProject AI for object tracking and face recognition. 8 Cam setup ranging from 4k to to 720p outside and in with no issues. If you can get this under $300 pick it up!

llego bien , su condicion no es excelente como se describe pero su funcionamiento si y eso ya es ganancia al comprar renewed , ya es mi consentida aunque te viejita.

En mi caso, no funcionó la salida de audio delantera de 3.5, no detecta nada cuando conectas audifonos, el resto bien. Realmente no pensaba usar esa salida de audio asà que en mi caso no afecta.

El equipo aparentemente venÃa bien empacado pero al destaparlo me di cuenta que no aseguraron el plástico protector debieron asegurarlo con cinta para evitar que se moviera ya que por los aventones de los transportistas corre riesgo de dañarse si se mueven los empaques y si viene dañado, se rompió el panel frontal, se ve en la fotografÃa número 4, el teclado y el mouse que incluyeron en el equipo está completamente sucio el gabinete del cpu tiene una capa de pintura de muy mala calidad que con pasar un paño con alcohol se despinta, de verdad un trabajo de remanufactura asqueroso, en cuanto a las caracterÃsticas del equipo viene con una fuente modular de 850w con certificación 80 plus gold un disipador térmico de 95w que soporta sin problema un core i9-9900k, el disco duro es un nvme m.2, y le faltan los brackets para 2 bahÃas de los discos duros, solo tiene uno, su desempeño es muy bueno no falla ningún componente, solo estoy pensando en devolver el cpu por qué está roto el panel frontal y si quiero mover el cpu de su lugar el panel frontal termina por salirse.Lo califico mal por eso y por la pintura de mala calidad con la que restauraron el gabinete no puedo limpiarlo sin que el paño termine lleno de pintura 🙁
