Good sound, good range and comfortable to wear
I like to listen to radio or podcasts while working in the yard. For very loud tasks (lawn mower, grinder, etc), I usually wear over the ear ‘muffs’ WorkTunes by 3M. They are great but bulky and very sweaty in hot weather. I needed something lighter, less bulky but still able to withstand hot and sweaty. I thought DeWalt would know how to make something reliable and made for work environments. Initially I was going to pick the smaller DeWalt unit without speakers, but reviews were conflicting, so I opted for this 2-in-1 unit. First impression is they are comfortable to wear. The ear pieces fit nicely with the default pieces in, but it also comes with multiple optional sized pieces if you need to fine tune the fit. If you need more ambient sound reduction, the set includes ear pieces designed to fit tight and isolate the noise. I find the Bluetooth works very well and has a good range. I can walk 30′ from my tablet and not miss a word from my Audible player. It claims the battery will last up to 60 hours (when using the headphone mode, not speaker mode). I have not fully tested that, but after the full charge the first day, I’ve not had to recharge again (after about 10 hours total use over 3 days). So far so good.

I like the speakers, however they could be a touch louder. The in ear headphones are good and fit rather well with the amount of custom headphone tips you get. The thing I don’t like is I wish the in ear headphones kind of get in the way when there dangling I wish they would stowaway somewhere in the head band itself. Everything else about the headset is pretty good. Comfort is good, buttons are nice, charge port could use a different cover imo but it’s just a little annoying. Over all worth the price.

I like these for what they are and are worth the money, so the quality fit and buttons layout are all great… some might say it’s a little bulky but honestly I forgot I’m wearing it half the time…. the battery life on it O my, it goes on and on and on😂…. in the picture I have them charging up it shows a nice little red indicator that turns green when it’s done… the little speakers on speaker mode sound pretty good for the size they are really, and it gets plenty loud enough to turn it way up if you’re doing something in the yard that’s loud or whatever it is you may be doing… wish they had some in different colors but I get it yellow is their thing for DeWalt…. overall this gets a 9 out of 10 and I only give it 9 out of 10 because the audio isn’t like for sitting down at home listening to pounding base and nice mids and trouble and yada yada Yada… these are for somebody who’s going to be working on their car mowing the grass maybe driving the car and wants good audio quality but not have something stuck in your ear all the time but if they need to talk to somebody privately they can put it quickly on to your mode from one click of a button which is independent by the way and you can change the sound a little bit.. honestly does help a little but I’m more of a bass head so that’s more subjective to me…. or I should say I’m more biased to base… but the average person would probably say this is plenty loud enough and sounds good enough to get the job done and honestly the speakers on calls are freaking awesome…. it’s also great that they conclude a little like carrying bag so if you need to put them up for a hot minute or throw them in a gym bag or something you can do so yeah they’re not the most stylish either but I don’t really care….. anyways I hope they make like a model upgrade to this and that enhances the quality of the speaker inside the headphones or something because this is a home run guys keep it up the good work DeWalt 😎✌️

I gave 4 because I wish they were not yellow. These are really good. I purchased them to try out as I drive a truck and have hearing aides. Thought they might work and not have to have a head set on. Well so far they are great. I tried them on my motorcycle and found that I can use the ear pieces in and they block the wind noise so I can actually listen to music on it. Can get calls but doubt anyone would hear what I say while riding. Driving and using them to talk on the phone is really good they do not pickup sounds from the car, at least I was told they didn’t I was told I sounded very clear. best part I can hear other and with hearing damage that is important to me. buttons are big and easy to use. Very nice tool. Dewalt did good job, stands out a bit being dewalt yellow.
