Great MiniPC with some limitations.
I purchased this MiniPC for both work and personal use, drawn to its 3 HDMI ports as I require multiple monitors. However, after installing Linux Mint, the performance fell short of my expectations.The company’s tech support was incredibly helpful, offering suggestions and troubleshooting based on screenshots I provided of the BIOS settings and display output. Ultimately, they agreed that the product didn’t meet my needs and offered a return.Despite this, the DreamQuest MiniPC is a solid product with good speed and storage upgrade options (though the memory is soldered). The tech support team was particularly accommodating throughout the process.For comparison, the screenshot with the dark center monitor is from DreamQuest, while the other is from a different manufacturer’s product, also purchased through Amazon.The 5 Star rating is because the product is exceptionally designed with the layout of the external ports and having the ability to install an internal SATA drive may not be ground breaking, but it is nice that they considered having it installed to the computerâs base to alleviate excessive heat buildup on the drive. And finally, it looks really nice when in operation.

Computer will not power on after one use
Purchased this item for my business. Out of box the computer worked fine. Came in the next day and the computer would not power on.

Makes an annoying hissing sound
Overall, I’m happy with the performance. However, I have it connected to my stereo receiver and speakers and the machine makes hissing, clicking, garbled noises EVEN when I mute the speakers. So, it’s connected to my receiver, which is on with normal volume, but I mute the sound through the Mini PC and the hissing, clicking sounds still come through the speakers. Any ideas?

Windows did not work
Windows did not work on this unit. Build is also dubious, USB ports not well-aligned with casing and tough to use. Had to return the unit.

Der Mini-PC wird mit einem Netzteil, einem HDMI-Kabel (ca. 1 m) und einer Bedienungsanleitung in deutsch geliefert. Die Festplatte (500 GB) ist bereits fertig eingebaut, so daà ich sofort loslegen konnte.Die Ersteinrichtung ist wirklich einfach und man wird Schritt für Schritt begleitet.Tipp: kabelgebundene Tastatur und kabelgebundene Maus zur ersten Installation verwenden.So waren die Eingaben am schnellsten durchzuführen. Es wird auch eine virtuelle Tastatur angezeigt, jedoch ist es mit der umständlicher.Bei Interesse bitte mein kurzes Video anschauen, sagt mehr als 1000 Worte.Im Normalbetrieb läuft der PC ganz ohne Lüfter und ist somit absolut geräuschlos. Muss der Prozessor mehr leisten, schaltet sich der eingebaute Ventilator zu. Dann ist ein leises Surren hörbar, jedoch nur bei sonst absoluter Stille ist dies wahrnehmbar.Der Stromverbrauch ist super: im stand-by-Betrieb nimmt sich der Rechner gerade mal 1,4 Watt und unter Vollast mit Lüfter ca. 15 Watt, maximal kurzzeitig ging die Anzeige auf 18 Watt.Alles gemessen mit einem nicht geeichten Gerät.Alle AnschluÃbuchsen sind rundherum leicht zugänglich und ausreichend vorhanden.3 x HDMI, 4 x USB 3.0, Kopfhörerbuchse, Schacht für Micro-SD-Karte (TF)Es gibt einen separaten Einschaltknopf an der Vorderseite. Optische Rückmeldung mit LED-Streifen an der Oberseite.Die Rechenleistung ist für meine Zwecke mehr als ausreichend. Alles läuft flüssig und ohne Ruckeln.Nach der Ersteinrichtung habe ich auf eine BT-Tastatur und BT-Maus umgestellt.Alles klappte ohne Probleme.Bin wirklich zufrieden Preis / Leistung = sehr gut.
