Q1: The suction cup mount can’t attach to my dash.
A: 1. The suction cup mount is great for flat surface, not for curved, soft, plush fabrics, or bumpy surface.
2. Make sure the dash surface is clean. If the suction mount get dirty, you can wash it and let it dry, then you can use it again.
3. The fixed disc needs to be pressed for 1 minute and then left to stand for 1 hour for better adhension.
4. If you got a heavy phone, you can let the long arm lean against the edge of dashboard to support your phone.
5. The suction cup mount and fixed disc will harden in the winter. Recommend you warming up the suction mount cup and fixed disc by hot air from the air vent before mounting.
Q2: Why my phone get charged so slowly or drain the battery?
A: 1. Use the included QC 3.0 car charger to power this car wireless charger for z fold 4, other adapter or USB port can’t supply enough power to this device.
2. GPS navigation or other high-powered application using may have impact on the charging speed. Rate of battery consumption may be higher than the charging.

Best solution I’ve found for car mounting Z Fold 5
I tried a couple of other less expensive options, mostly because I honestly didn’t need a car mount that wirelessly charged my phone. It’s just as easy to use a USB-C cable to plug it in. But having tried two other non-charging mounts that either didn’t adhere to the dashboard for more than a day, and one that could not keep its clip grip on a vent, I decided to try the more expensive option. This JOYVEVA (rather an odd name, but there it is), is so far kind of, well, “joyful” in that it works. I tried the vent clip, which does hold very firmly, but in my particular vehicle, allowed the phone to hang a little bit too low, obscuring my center infotainment screen. So I decided to use the dash mounted arm instead, thus raising my phone up higher.I dry mounted to find the exact placement, then peeled off the protective film on the round black rubber disk that you affix to the dash. They recommend pressing it firmly for a full minute and leaving it to sit for at least an hour before you attach the suction mounted arm. I let it sit overnight and then attached the arm/phone cradle. There are two adjustment locks on the arm… one that ‘pumps’ out the air to create suction, and the other to adjust the angle of the arm to follow the curve of the dash. The cradle is sleek and attractive. The best feature is perhaps that the arms that hold the phone open and close automatically. When you place your phone on the lower lip, the arms contract until they make contact with the phone I can use my Z Fold 5 open, which is nice as it sometimes provides better directions than my car does with its installed navigation. You press a button on the bottom of the cradle to retract the arms and remove your phone. You can still do this right after you turn the car off even though there is no power going to the USB port on the car after the ignition is turned off.You can use this cradle even if you have a non-foldable phone or want your Fold to be closed. The charging coils will shake hands with most devices, I would think.

Nice Product
Product works great for my phone that opens like a book, the mechanics of the item work great, the only issue I had with it was that the product didn’t attach too well to my console. Had to place it on the side of the console that can be a bit off centered from where I would want it. I do have an older truck, which could be the case, but looking for something that will stay attached closer to the steering wheel on my console.

The Fold with Case having a Stylist
The Fold 5 Z phone does not fit firmly if you have a protective phone case with a stylist at the hinge. The phone holder has a tight enough grip that even when a part of the phone hangs over the phone holder it does not fall. It is amazing to me that a company would make a phone holder for a phone valued $1,700+ and not account for this issue. If the claps were wider, the bulge would not matter that much. For the Fold Z phone with case and stylist at the hinge there would need to have four claps, two at the top and two at the bottom, and this design or similar modifications could then work. It could equally work with a case. As it stands, these car phone holders show images without the cases. So, one buys a $1,700 phone to put it on a car phone holder without a protected case so that it may fall and be damaged. Improve your design and you will have a well made product worthy of our investment in a device that we handle many more times than we drink glasses of water each day.

A constant issue that’s now an annoyance.
This product has a couple of issues.1. Will not maintain a solid grip of the phone (Samsung Z Fold 5) if you have a protective case with a spine guard. When on a rough road, the phone falls out of the charging cradle.2. The grip of the ball joint that hold the charging cradle lost the ability to hold the cradle in position with in a two month period. It has to be propped up. The loss of the grip on the ball joint also causes the cradle to spin in either direction.3. When you turn your vehicle ignition off with my phone in the charging cradle then turn the ignition back on, after a minute or two (now driving) the side grips holding the phone release and the phone drops out of the cradle. The phone now falling, hits buttons, knobs, and the auxiliary steering wheel lever (windshield washer) flipping them on. Not to mention my phone is now on the floor under my feet in the passenger foot well, out of reach.4. The phone charges so slow or not at all when using navigation.

Getting ready to find out I’m going to mount my car right now and make sure that it actually holds. More to come. So the suction cup itself holds to the top of the car, but the piece that it comes with for you to attach it to does not work. I recommend mounting it directly to my dashboard, using just the suction cup arm, and not the extra plate that it comes with, and it works perfectly because you also get that extra suction on your dashboard where it’s actually attached. I’m gonna give it some time but I put my phone on it immediately and it’s holding perfectly. I’ll review in about a week or if it’s actually held up and held my phone in place that they dual motors are still working.

Der Umgang hakte ein wenig lag aber an mir daich das Handy direkt an das Display meines Radios anschlieÃen um das Google Navi auf das Display zu laden. Somit benötigte ich einen zusätzlichen Stromanschluss für meine Ladechale und den Anschluss über das Radio. Da ja logischerweise keine Daten über die Ladeschale laufen kann. Ideen braucht der Mensch, ansonsten alles Super.
