Begrudgingly capitulating to wireless? Look no further! Will win over all mid-aged luddites
I had been an apple addict since age 10 and in many ways still am — but in my 40s kinda slowed down on keeping up with the pads, pods, watches (so dorky) as much as I still live in the apple ecosystem. I swore I’d never buy any sorta wireless earpod and honestly beats headphones are still trash (for 4 years had purchased pairs only to have them break in a few months). But, between driving more these days, trying to have relatively private hands free convos while my young daughter is around, and recently tearing my achilles … I had to find something convenient.I was astonished at how affordable, easy to use and decent sounding these EarPods are! Why would anyone spend upwards of 100$ or more for others?Convenience — these are super easy to set up, sync, and get startedPrice — I think these are quite simply the best at this price point 35-50$Sound — they are not sennheiser or bose, but given how much else you get, they sound great. The bass is legit and all else is clear enough without being tinny (I listen to mostly rock, electronic, jazz, and not a classical music snob about levels at all) … the volume is a little lower than I prefer even when maxxed out, but perhaps thats for the better as they are indeed just loud enough — sorta like the EarPods themselves, just really good enough.Charging — the case really can handle 4 full charges … which is great. The case itself also charges quickly, and I just leave mine on my cheap wireless charger pad. I also like that the case is not digital and fancy … the basic look and feel suits my style moreso than led/digital read outs.Buttons — I love that there is a tactile button that you can actually feel depress. Others where you just tap always leave me pressing the wrong number of times. You get used to the Taps and holds for volume, skipping tracks and calls … it kinda becomes intuitive after a few days.Siri – works perfectly … really kinda amazing, especially if you have any sorta smart devices in your home. The cast I have on is making this aspect even more convenient but being able to turn on lights, thermostats, Apple TVs with these pods is awesome.I can see myself possibly in the future wanting something with a bit more audio oomph down the road, but I’ve also read that many people end up using these as spares — for their office, car etc.Couple of other notes — you cant sync them to multiple devices … but its easy enough to disconnect them. I tried them with my Apple TV (for late night movie viewing) and they were solid. There is another option on Amazon (vankyo) that also appear highly rated, but they were out of stock and I dont really like those glowing buds or that readout on the case. And for those new to the pods, just be sure you kinda keep the case in a convenient location as they kinda act like the home base for these things. Otherwise you’ll lose them, or the kids/dog etc will definitely let curiosity get the better of them.Highly recommended for first time pod newbies, spares, and those looking for best budget options.

Some of the best earbuds Iâve had
Very impressed! I desperately needed a new pair of earbuds for the gym. I didnât want to spend a bunch of money on a new pair, partly because I had spent similar amounts of money on these things in the past, and was always disappointed. Iâm pretty picky when it comes to sound. I have always found âbudgetâ earbuds to be very thin-sounding, and that doesnât work for me. I had added the EarFun 2s to my cart, where they sat for quite a long time. I eventually bit the bullet and ordered them, but kept my expectations low. They arrived a few days later and I could not have been more taken off guard by these. What follows is my honest review. Each category will be assigned its own star rating.Fit âï¸âï¸âï¸This is one of the lower-rated categories for me, personally. Keep in mind that every body is built differently, so this is very subjective. The medium sized ear piece that came on the earbuds didnât hold them in my ears very well at all, they would fall out of my ears when laying flat on my back. I put the larger ones on, and it semi-fixed the problem. They still require adjustment occasionally if I am wearing them at the gym. Itâs not horribly annoying, but it is somewhat.Noise canceling âï¸âï¸As mentioned in other reviews, these do not have active noise canceling. Any noise canceling effect you may achieve comes from using the correct ear pieces for your ears. If youâre strictly looking for noise canceling earbuds, these are not themConnectivity âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸Connected easily to my phone. Occasional loss of connection in left earbud, but itâs just for a split second. Nothing to complain about, especially at this price pointBattery life âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸I have yet to have these go dead on me, even after hours of use. They charge quickly in the case. No complaintsMic quality âï¸âï¸Does the mic function? Yes. They pic up phone calls without an issue. Itâs easy to hear the person on the other end. Howeverâ¦they have a slightly delay when you speak, which leads to talking over the other person, which leads to a lot of âsorry, what did you say?â. Itâs pretty irritating. I donât care for these for phone calls.Soundâï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸Now, the good stuff. These things sound mind- blowingly goodâ¦after a little adjustment. In the pre-set setting out of the box, they are pretty vanilla. However, EarFun has an app available that features an equalizer. The EQ has a bunch of presets, but the best part is that you can create a custom setting. To me, these things really shined after I adjusted them. Instruments sound very natural and detailed. You can even hear the resonance of the skins on the drums, itâs pretty amazing. Highs are nice and crisp, mids sound warm and natural, and the lows are very impactful. The bass you get out of these is quite impressive. Itâs not too boomy for rock or country. Itâs impactful, but it doesnât get muddy. Hip hop tracks boom with low bass, similar to listening to a car subwoofer. These things sound better than my Bose wired earbuds. No joke. They are also quite loud. They drown out the crappy music they play at my gym without any trouble.ClosingI gave these a 4 star rating because of the few minor annoyances that i experienced. I feel that they are an excellent product, possibly even underrated, and if you need some great earbuds for listening to music, look no further. If you want earbuds to drown out background noise and/or use for phone calls, look further.

I am extremely impressed with these earbuds. They are packaged neatly in a compact box, and the wireless charging case holds the earbuds securely. The case can be conveniently charged using the included USB cable, although it does not come with a plug. Luckily, I had an extra one. The sound quality of these earbuds is exceptional, and considering the price, I highly recommend them. They outperform pricier alternatives.

Alles in allem: Korrekte Kaufentscheidungð

Really pleased with these â comfortable to wear, sound quality is great and the charge seems to last a long, long time. The earbuds come in an attractive and functional box and feel like a quality product straight away. The box contains the earbuds themselves, a c-usb cable (the same as newer Samsung phones) two additional pairs of ear tips (total of three different sizes), the charging case and an instruction manual.Make sure you choose the right size tips for you so that the earbuds are held securely and comfortably in the ears. The units look a little bulky at first, but they actually fit really well and Iâve found I can wear for a long period without them becoming tiring or uncomfortable.Bluetooth connection to my phone was easy and quick and the signal is strong enough for me to move a good distance from my phone in the house. Bluetooth earphones Iâve had before have lost contact just a few feet away meaning I had to carry the phone around to listen to music uninterrupted. Not these earbuds â my house isnât huge, but I can easily leave the phone in one spot and go from room to room playing music through the earbuds without a problem. The charging case is a nice sleek little unit â the lid closes with a reassuring magnetic catch and the earbuds are also magnetically pulled into their moulded slots. The case itself is a âpower packâ really complete with four indicator lights that show how much charge it contains. You charge up the case using the cable or with a cordless phone charger (if you have one), then it charges the earbuds when you put them in the case. I havenât really been able to see exactly how long they last on a charge – Iâve done a fair bit of listening and they are still going strong! The claim is 6 hours âstandaloneâ or 30+ hours when using the case. In fact I’ve just noticed that my phone tells me how much charge is left in the earbuds! So what about the sound â Iâm a musician, so sound quality is important. Overall thereâs a good response across the full frequency range. They keep out external sound very effectively and unlike earbuds with wires, there’s no additional sound as you move your head around. Bass is nice and deep â you can âfeelâ it at the back of your neck and thereâs nothing in any frequency that hurts your ears. I tested out with my usual sound reference (Dire Straits, Brothers In Arms) and everything sounded pretty much like it should. My phone rang during the first listening session and they worked as a good hands-free device (you can just use the right earbud for this purpose if you want to). Also a double press on the right earbud button and it links to your phone’s voice assistant! I haven’t tried the waterproof feature yet!!All in all â a really nice set of earbuds â no annoying cable noise when your walking around. Good value; they donât feel, look or sound cheap and will give you loads of listening time between charges.
