Customers say
Customers appreciate the sound quality, comfort, and build quality of these headphones. They find the sound clear and open, with a wide soundstage. Many find the headset comfortable and fit their heads well, avoiding head fatigue. The mic quality is good, with a convenient detachable mic and Mic Mute rotation feature. While many consider the headphones a solid option under $200, some have mixed opinions on the weight.

Great alternative to the PC38X
Sound quality is fantastic and has some fairly strong bass for an open back headset. I have no complaints with the mic, it’s nice and clear. Since this is EPOS it uses some of the same features from the past Sennheiser headsets and that’s not a bad thing. It still has the flip up mic mute feature and the volume wheel is on the side of the earcup (although I think it feels a little nicer now). One change they did make is you can pull off the mic now because it’s held on by magnets, pretty cool.Sound wise compared to the PC38X it’s pretty similar but the PC38X has a more open air sound, you shouldn’t be surprised if you ever compared the two in pictures. I would almost call the H6Pro a “semi open” headset, for example if you put the H6Pro on your head your voice is only slightly muffled, but when wearing the PC38X you can hear yourself clear as can be. So in the sound department I would just barely give the crown to the PC38X.Comfort is pretty good, still not the best I’ve ever had on my head but it certainly has lighter clamping force than the PC38X. Build quality so far seems great, miles better than the PC38X it’s made of more than just plastic and feels sturdier. Looks are subjective but I like the H6Pro better in this department as well, it looks more like a gamer headset while not looking overly gamer, clean and no RGB.

The Best âGaming Headsetâ available. Easily Better than Astro and Steelseries.
As far as gaming headsets go. These are incredible. No they arenât audiophile but I tested them with my 58x and to my ear there is little difference. The hd58x are slightly more clear. I donât know where the hate comes from with these. Perhaps itâs the closed variant but open are amazing.Sound: Like I said, not hd58x but so closeBuild: Better than my hd58x, they have a metal band and the plastic is a brushed finish instead of a cheap shiny finish like my 58xComfort: this is what ultimately made me stick with these over an audiophile headset. The comfort is amazing. Maybe itâs because of my size head but they are amazing and itâs the best selling point for me. Little clamping force out of the box. Sooooo comfortableAesthetics: this is obviously not as important for some but I want my headset to look good. The design is amazing and was the first thing to attract my attention.Mic quality is actually really good. I donât need anything that is crazy as I majority play competitive games.Ultimately I chose these over my 58x. I got tired of not having a mic on my actual header. Modmic was not that great as it added even more wires. There is one wire with the H6pro. It literally offers the best balance as far as sound, aesthetics, build, comfort, convenience and all with a detachable mic that adds no clutter.WORTH. IT. All headsets and headphones are overpriced pieces of plastic so like cars you will always over pay. But these justStrike such a good balance vs the rest of the market

Work Great, not the most comfortable
Sound is good, mic sounds good, I like the knob on the right ear that handles volume, I like the microphone removability and lifting up to mute. The issue is that they really squeeze my head and I need to take them off to feel relief every hour or so. Not ideal for a gaming or work headset.

Overall, the best wired gaming headset
So, I could ramble about headsets and headphones for a long time.I own, amongst others:Audeze LCD-3, LCD-GXBeyerdynamic 990 ProAudio-Technica ATH-G1WLSteelSeries Arctis ProSennheiser everything ever it feels likeIn practice, these are the ones I actually use. Why? They offer the best combination of comfort, audio quality, mic quality, and compatibility that I’ve been able to find. Please point me at a better-sounding headset that costs 5x+ as much as this that actually works and doesn’t wear out after long-term use, and I’ll buy it and buy you one too.For FPS gamers, these make footsteps incredibly easy to localize.. I’m talking to you, Counter-Strike players. The comparison in this regard to the Arctis Pro Wireless is incredibly stark; the SteelSeries will just get you killed, sorry.(The Audeze LCD-GX are nicer-sounding but much heavier, much more expensive, and the microphone cables cost $180 to replace when they inevitably wear out. Not to mention the mic bleed-through from FPS gunfire. They sit in their box at this point, regrettably.)

Solid option under $200
This is a great buy if your budget for headphones+mic is under $200.It’s been a love and hate since I got these. Initially I didn’t like the build quality coming from more expensive and quality headphones. But that grew on me because it’s so light, the only more comfortable headphone I’ve worn is the Sony XM5. I really like the volume dial, very easy to access.SoundIt’s a v shape sound. Fun bass and treble gets up there making hearing footsteps better. Sound stage is great at this price point almost matching my DT 1990 pro. For music listening, the bass can overwhelm the mids. I personally wouldn’t do any serious music listening, or movies/tv where there’s loud bass music/sfx involve, but is passable for general youtube videos.MicrophoneEhh it’s good for what is it. Nothing special. Gets the job done. I keep it off as I have access to better mics, interfaces, dacs/amps.
