TURN IT THE OTHER WAY TO KEEP IT STUCK ON
This was going to get a 1-star review from me because it kept falling off. I keep my phone in portrait mode 95% of the time, and when I installed it the way all the pictures show, parallel to the short edge of the phone and about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way up from the bottom, the weight of the phone made the stand come unglued after about 15 minutes. (Yes, I used an alcohol wipe to clean my case first. My case is hard but very slightly rubbery plastic – maybe this wouldn’t be an issue if I had a truly hard case.)But then! Brain blast!I turned the stand so that it’s parallel to the LONG edge of the case (hinge end up, and with the bottom end about as low as it can go on the back of the phone), rather than parallel to the short end. Now it works marvelously! I can prop my phone up in portrait mode all day long and it stays there. It works just as well in landscape mode this way too. It’s perhaps a bit less stable than it would be in the intended configuration, but that’s not a problem unless there’s an earthquake … and if there’s an earthquake, you probably have bigger problems.

Great Kickstand, But Not Ideal for Heavy Foldable Phones
This kickstand is fantastic! It’s well-made, sleek, and the adhesive is incredibly strong. It sticks to my phone securely and doesn’t feel like it’s going to come off anytime soon. I love how compact it is and doesn’t add much bulk to my phone.However, there’s one caveat. I have a foldable phone which is significantly heavier than a standard smartphone. While the kickstand generally holds my phone up just fine, it struggles sometimes. Occasionally, and this can be quite annoying, the kickstand simply gives out and collapses while I’m watching videos or if I tap the screen.Overall, this is a great product, but I would hesitate to recommend it for users with heavier foldable devices. If you have a standard smartphone, you’ll likely find this kickstand to be perfect.
