Little ones broke the headphone jack in my Chromebook one afternoon during a “its my turn” tug-a-war with it. Looking for a quick solution to the lack of an headphone jack I came across this USB Audio hub thingy. I liked the fact it had two headphone jacks which came in handy so both my kiddos could plug in their own headset while sharing the screen.Tested it out immediately after I got it on the Chromebook and it worked like a charm. As soon as I plugged it in, Chrome OS recognized it as an audio device and I didn’t have to mess with any of the settings to get it to play the audio through it. Had similar experiences when I tried it on my Windows and Ubuntu desktop. Both OS’ had zero issues playing audio through it.I’ve been using it on and off since I purchased it on May 2020 and I haven’t notice any issues with. Sound quality comes out crisp and clear with no static or any other form of interference.I’m glad I found this little thing and would have no issues buying another one if the need should arise or recommending it to someone else looking for a similar solution.

Better than expected
I bought this for my laptop that doesn’t come with a microphone jack. I wasn’t sure how well this would work because sometimes things online aren’t as promised technology wise. This was not one of those things. It exceeded my expectations. It’s really durable and very handy. The sound quality isn’t crap. It’s actually really nice (Then again my headphones are nice) No problems with my mic at all. Both USB ports work perfectly. No complaints so far and I’ve had it for almost two months.

Nice idea, like the style and that it’s compact, like it as a USB hub, thankful the audio is better, but doesn’t do everything I’d like as well as I’d like.Didn’t mind buying this to prove to myself that the sound card on my motherboard is just going to hell instead of the house wiring – with my speakers plugged into this I no longer have any annoying pop or crackle.While it rectified the horrible crackle if I’m loading certain games(particularly Ark) and have people blabbing in Discord the audio will slow down, lag, and stutter for the entire duration of the loading screen.Unfortunately this also seems to be useless for plugging my mic into. Windows/VIA HD drivers have an option for microphone boost in the level properties which I need to have constantly set at +20db for other people to comfortably hear me without straining. With the mic going through this device there is no boost in the level properties and I am even more impossible to hear than usual.

Very handy and functional, usb ports are great
I got this for my wife to use with her laptop. She has external speakers w/subwoofer, and headphones. When she would swap out the plug between the two, it would pop loudly. I suspected her audio port was getting loose, as it’s an older laptop. This is exactly what she needed. It allows her to plug her speakers into this hub, and then her headphones into the 2nd headphone port when she needs them. She has an inline switch to turn the speakers on/off so it won’t play out of both. There are other hubs out there, but this one has the added advantage of having USB ports, which she needs. The light and logo isn’t really her style, but it’s easy to cover. Helps tidy up her desk.
