Color Me Impressed!
I have been on the hunt for a decent pair of true flat studio monitor headphones for a while and DING! I think I just hit the jackpot. I was just about ready to give up and just buy another pair of Sony’s for my home studio, I just didn’t really want to spend another $90. I figured, someone out there has got to make a decent pair of studio monitor headphones for less than $500, $250, $170, $90… Well, guess what kids, I think I have found them with these Fifine Studio Monitor Headphones. They are lightweight, easy on the head-squeezy, feel sturdy, come with two cords, and a nice box. No carry bag but what do you want for $34? The sound is very flat, clean and clear, just like voice-over folk and music producers want. I’ve been the radio and VO biz for 39 years, so I kinda know what I’m talking about. Am I a cheapskate? Not really, but I do live on a budget, and I’m always looking for great quality at a good price. Granted, this is my first day with these, but so far… Color Me Impressed.Update: After trying these side by side with my Sony MDR 7506s, I felt I had to update my position, these are a bit too bassy to use on-air since I am used to the Sonys, but then isn’t everything when you’re used to the Sony MDRs? However, using these for my home studio setup they sound great, and I will continue to use them for my home-based voice-over business. Not perfect, but for the price point, great job Fifine!

Based on $ these are a miracle.
Ok not an audiophile. But I buy mostly audiophile cans on a 3/4 monthly basics. I found my (for now) end game headphones for $420 – Australian Audio open backs. But hearing about a $35 dollar pair of great headphones is intriguing.Bottom line – the build is fine. For me it can get a bit hot w prolonged use but light and comfy.Ok the sound: is wonderful. Iâm a fan of flat response. If you are too youâll be amazed at the bang for buck. They seem to live in the mids. Going too high on volume reveals sone limitations but overal these are awesome cans. They are great w. Neatrality they compare quite favorably w headphones hundreds of dollars more. Especially if you keep the volume reasonable.Iâm still testing and listening. They are not perfect. But they sound better to my ears that the $160 Beyer Dynamics i returned last year which never warmed up. These took about 3 days to warm upIâm a huge fan and these will be my Xmas gift cans this year. Highly recommended. Tuned beautifully which is key. If you are looking for studio monitors you have to give these a shot. These will remain a proud member of my lineup. Better than many phones Iâve spent hundreds on. And light enough to fall asleep in. And Iâd they get ruined – they are cheap enough to replace.Iâm shocked howGood these sound. Stay in the mids and youâll be delighted.

Much better than expected
I had an itch to grab another set of headphones. So I came across these and thought they are very reasonably-priced priced so why not. I have to say I was impressed for what you get for this price.I was kind of expecting the bass to be bloaty, and it is not. I expected the bass to bleed into the mids and it does not. The bass has a nice clean sound to it, not for Bass heads but it does gives a little rumble and punch, a well rounded bass with some good detail. Then I was expecting the mids would be all shouty and they are not. Clean detailed vocals and instruments and not too congested. So you figure well the treble is going to pierce right through you and cause listening fatigue. The treble has a nice sparkle to it but rolls off smoothly. All in all, for what they are charging for this, it is no brainer. I would have to compare these to some good $100 plus headphones to match the sound. The fit and finish is very good, remember these are mostly plastic, so if you take care of them, they will take care of you. I always prefer wired headphone to any bluetooth set I have tried or own and these just got placed in my top 3, I would commonly reach for.

I recently purchased the Fifine H8 Monitoring Studio Headphones and I am quite impressed with their performance. As an intermediate user, I was looking for a pair of headphones that would deliver clear and accurate sound, and these headphones did not disappoint. The sound quality is excellent, with well-balanced bass, mids, and highs. The ear cups are comfortable and fit well over my ears, allowing me to wear them for extended periods without any discomfort.Additionally, the build quality is solid and I appreciate the adjustable headband and swivel ear cups for easy storage. The included cord is long enough for my needs and the 1/4 inch adapter is a nice bonus.Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend these headphones to others looking for an affordable option for monitoring audio.
