Some of the more graphic N64 games do not work on this. GoldenEye and Zelda Ocarina of Time do not work on this. Basically the games every one wants to play –

A lot of the N64 and PlayStation games do not work on this. Like GoldenEye and Zelda Ocarina of Time just do not work. They glitch and start over not even a minute into playing

Best. Thing. Ever.
I rarely write 5 stars. But I put 5 stars here because this product was made for me.The only game console i need ever again.It does have problems BUT anyone who is familiar with emulation will walk into this with these expectations.I also purchased the “retro boy” from a different vendor. When it arrives I’ll do a comparison.But in the meantime if you like retro games you’re reading the review of the last console you’ll ever have to buy. Period.UPDATE! My r36s came in. They look the same but the 36 feels better if that makes sense. The game library is identical but with slight variations. For example: my 36 came out of the box with tomb raider games. My 40 didn’t have that.The 36 user interface is more esthetically pleasing but still basically the same.BOTH CONSOLES LAG on 64 games. This is nothing new. But still a bummer.In summary: you can’t go wrong with the 40 or the 36. My own personal preference is the 36. But they are both quality products and worth every penny.

Not trying to sound like an embicile. But to be honest. This console has most of the games like mario kart not running. Most of the games that do work are black and white color. Maybe i need to vuy another sd card and download all the games and reformat this device. It’s not worth $80 in all honesty. As a pro gamer, with 7,800 hours on counter strike source. Plus other games. Both pc and other consoles. This is okay overall. This device actually costs $30 on aliexpress. But if your uncle sam money. Go ahead. It’s a nice piece of console for noobs.

Best hand console I ever bought
I have bought several handheld game consoles in the past, mostly for nostalgia games, most dont last long enough. But this one is just amazing! I also bought it because of old games, however, out of my expectation, it contains MUCH MORE platforms, and most of the games have no problem running!The display and the material made are great! The battery last for the past three days, it only droped to 32% though I played a lot. Some small cons though: For some of the games are Chinese version, it changed some font display, making it a little weird, but only some games, but I would say good for a Chinese player. Another thing is I found the running speed is slow when playing some 3D games which need more chip capbility. But I guess most buyers of this console are just into the old nostalgia games, maybe 3D is not that type yet.Overall, the console is great! Highly recommended!

I used to have a gameboy color and gameboy advance and it felt like my childhood again playing on this device. Make sure to read the directions to properly turn off the device and get back to the home screen. If you use the power buttons to shutoff the device instead of going through the settings, the game may not save. I learned the hard way. Otherwise amazing device

Very good retro handheld console. Says there are exactly 15,108 games installed across multiple generations. Screen is large, bright and clear. Quality of the plastic is good and has a decent weight to it.Not sure why they call this R40S Pro when its pretty much just an R36S. Even the internals inside says R36S as shown in my uploaded photo. Another thing, the product page says the battery is 3800mAh, when in fact, it is just 3000mAh as shown in my poto.Most of the buttons are loud, especially the triggers. No issues with the D-Pad and sticks. Theres only one speaker and it is right in the center. The sound quality is good, but would’ve been better if there were two.I’ve seen a video review of this same product online and for some weird reason, the copies I got have a cheap printed sticker on the back unlike the more professional looking one I seen on the video review. I’ve uploaded the difference as well.Overall, still a very good handheld thats great for wasting time on. Personally, I would look into other retro gaming handhelds because nowadays, it just seems like theres a new one every week.
