Fun for the whole family
I am so glad I threw these in my purse at the last minute, the deck is so small it took up no room. I broke these bad boys out at Thanksgiving and wow what fun. The instructions were simple and we all had such a fun time. We literally laughed for 2 hours while we played.

Get this game if you love music
We played for the first time tonight and I RAN to write this review! This game is so much fun! We played with 10 people for 2 hours! We literally had to make ourselves stop playing! Our family loves music and this game is perfect for people that love music. Our kids ( 8, 10, 12) all played with us and understood the questions. (Some we skipped or modified so it was age appropriate.)

We all play !
I first played this at a family reunion on Lake Powell. Teenagers, parents, and a grandma were all playing together ! It was fun for all of us. Guess who won ? Grandma !! (Me!). It goes to show music is ageless — we all responded to good words with a catchy beat ! We found we had more in common than not. We’re having family come here in January and needed this game !! PS – my teenage grandson is pretty cool ð

Must Have for Music Lovers
This game is a must have for music lovers. It made for a great game night addition. The cards are a great size for traveling. They can easily be thrown into a purse or backpack and the game can be played pretty much anywhere. Prepared for a lot of fun, laughter, and reminiscing when you play this game. You wonât be disappointed. Oh and itâs great for all ages.

Fun but not with the money
My friends and family like singing games, so this seemed perfect. I was pretty disappointed to find out that for the price you pay, the entire game is just a deck of cards with a category on each card. It is fun but we had a little trouble playing it with music apps. There were either commercials, or the original artist/recording wasn’t available, or the relevant part of the song was halfway thru and it you had to wait until it got there, or skip ahead. We changed it to a singing game, which was easier and more fun. If you don’t want to fork out the money for the game, you really could just make up your own categories.

Very good for avid listeners.
I love this game to play with my family because it shows new songs between us and causes a lot of good laughs when someone missinterperates the various prompts.

Lots of fun! Lots of ways to play!
Great game! So many ways to play too! It plays better in smaller groups than in bigger ones if you follow the rules included in the deck; I think 4 is an ideal size, anything bigger than 5 people makes the game too long (especially if people are drinking adult beverages while playing). In larger groups, like at our girls nights, we use the game to take turns controlling the music. Everyone takes turn playing a card, listening to 15 second samples of the songs the rest of the group suggest, and then when the person who played the card picks one of those sampled songs, we listen to that song all the way through before playing another card. Also a lot of fun to text pictures of the cards to friends and play the game by texting YouTube links to each other (and my favorite way to play it so far). Some cards are generic categories that you could brainstorm songs before the game, but the cards that make you choose songs for a specific person in your group make the game so much more exciting and entertaining. I’ve attached pictures of both types of cards you’ll encounter when playing.I’m also a teacher and will be using these cards as entry tasks for middle and high school students. I’ll give each student a card to play, the other students sitting in their group will suggest songs, and they will pick a song that was suggested to use for practicing writing tasks such as selecting textual evidence to support a specific claim and citing a direct quote from the songs’ lyrics, etc. I’m also thinking of using them to help students do character analyses where each student selects a character from a text we’ve read to role play as we play the game. I think I’ll also have them take this practice and do a larger summative assessment like creating a soundtrack for a specific theme from a novel, or a soundtrack for a character. Should be fun!

The game was pretty good as it got people talking and reminiscing about music but was more for conversation then competition. The price point is quite high for a deck of cards. We did have some laughs over Christmas though playing the game.
