The solution to my dying PC
Man I cannot express how relieved and satisfied I am with this power supply atm. After enduring countless frustrating crashes and black screens while trying to run 3D applications and programs on my PC, I was at my wit’s end. I wasn’t sure what exactly was crashing it as there were no specific entries in the Event Viewer and from having an AMD RX 570, I had even gone as far as purchasing an RTX 3060 Ti, thinking it would resolve the issue, but to no avail. HOWEVER all my problems vanished into thin air once I removed my THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER 750W power supply & installed the Gamemax 850W.I was initially struggling with cable management from the previous power supply (my current PC was traded for a gaming laptop I owned actually), but the installation process was a breeze. It fit perfectly into my PC case, and the cables were well-designed and easy to manage. Within minutes, I had the power supply up and running. As I booted up my system, I crossed my fingers, hoping for a miracle â and that’s exactly what I got!I basically evened out a steal of a trade since I gave someone an ASUS ROG gaming laptop with i7-4710HQ and a GTX 980m (wouldnt go for more than $300 now) for a PC rig that has a Ryzen 5 3600XT, 16GB RAM, AMD RX 570 Red Devil, hella RGB lights and it all came with a broken 750w power supply that the guy may not have known enough about, because for the value traded, he might as well have scrapped the entire potential of the rig but I got lucky on fb marketplace. Once I put in this Gamemax, it really shined with the 3060 Ti. Maxed out the percentages on UserBenchmark.Gone were the days of crashes and black screens. It was like my PC got a new lease on life. It’s been a month so far, but the stability and reliability of the Gamemax PSU were immediately evident. I could finally enjoy smooth and uninterrupted gaming, something I had been longing for so long. Months of troubleshooting just to figure out it was the PSU.The power supply’s efficiency and performance are much more accurate on the 12v and 5v rails as well, I know that checking voltages in BIOS without a multimeter is not usually an ideal way to measure, but the Thermaltake was showing 9.3v on the 12v rail, the 5v rail was showing 4.4 most times. With this power supply, it is a solid 11.8 to 12. The 5v stays at 5v. It provides a stable power flow to all my components, ensuring they receive the right amount of power they need without any fluctuations. The result? No more GPU-related crashes or black screens during intensive tasks. My RTX 3060 Ti now works flawlessly, showing off its true potential without any hiccups.

Solution to all your problems!
Just install this power supply into any computer, and boom! Anybody within a 500-foot radius will hear the loud noises from the power supply, shriek, and run far far away. My house is now free from all mosquitoes, termites, cats, annoying roommates, and more!(Detailed version)I was building an AMD RGB computer for a friend on a budget, and I was looking for a cheap PSU. This was one of the cheapest power supplies I could find on Amazon for this price point, so I went ahead and purchased it. The installation was easy; the PSU has worked flawlessly for her so far. I loved the look of the PSU in her computer, and at that time the PSU in my computer was starting to fail. I bought another GAMEMAX PSU for myself.Initially, the PSU worked great. It looked awesome in my RGB computer case, and it shot out tons of air out the back. Over time, though, the PSU started having problems. The fan would vibrate, stop, and make a high-pitch buzz, and my computer would frequently crash. As I was still in the 1-month return period, I gave GAMEMAX the benefit of the doubt and returned it, replacing it with the same PSU. My second PSU (that I am using now to type this review) hasn’t had the same issues as the first. The fan still makes the vibrating noise (it must be typical for this PSU) but I don’t have frequent crashes. Overall, 2/3 of these power supplies have worked for me. I would recommend this if you are on a strict budget but not if you can afford a PSU from a more reputable brand.Additional note: the PSU’s eco mode is a button switch and not a flip switch. Eco mode cannot be permanently turned off; it always turns on every time you boot the computer up.[Update]I just bought another one of these PSUs for a different computer and that one works fine; now 3/4 of these have worked for me. Several of them are still emitting very annoying noises, and I believe they are coming from a faulty fan. I wouldnât recommend these for anybody; save up and get a better PSU instead.

It was in stock while every other ATX 3.0 pus was not so I gave it a try
8 month update – still works, still silent. No problems with thise unit at all. I can only comment on the one I got but if their QC is good then ignore the haters and pick one of these up.Building in a Lian Li Air Mini meant I could not use the included adapter with the GPU and needed an ATX 3.0 power supply. There was not many reviews at the time for this one but I figured the price was right and it was in stock so I took a chance. The power supply arrived nicely packaged and so new the paint still smelled fresh so I guess if you like the smell of an auto body shop then grab this. The smell was local to the unit itself and did not stink up my office or blow it out when the fan spun. I do not care about RGB in the psu but can say it does work and the included cable does plug directly into an rgb header on the motherboard so it can be synced with everything else. It runs quiet and so far has been dependable and easily forgotten which is good for a psu. The cables are not sleeved but are easy to bend and bunch to keep your build clean. If you want a nicer appearance in your case then some sleeved cable extensions are easily bought on Amazon too. Its a 1300w ATX 3.0 80+ Platinum rated power supply. I took a chance and it paid off so hopefully this review will help you decide if the chance is worth it for you.

At first it put off a electronic/plastic smell for about 3 days then it went away, This if normal for lower priced parts, However its been running in a Gaming PC with a z390 and 9700k with a RTX3070 for months now without any issues at all, I would recommend for any budget gaming pc.

For what’s available in the market for the price range, this Power supply had the best spec, watt amount, as well as visual aesthetics. It arrived super quick and I was able to replace my dead power supply with it. Instructions were very clear with color labeled wires. Would definitely recommend it.
