Great quality for the price!
I wanted to try out a new mic, as I’ve been using the same microphone for 5 years. Didn’t want to break the bank, and looked at my options. That’s when I found the COCONISE Gaming Microphone. I looked at the reviews, and also saw some online and decided to go for it on a whim. And honestly? It’s really good quality sound. Especially considering its price. Looking at its competitors, it’s about the same quality for a lower price, you really can’t beat it. If you’re starting out content creation, if you’re just wanting something better sounding than your standard headphone mic? I’d suggest looking into this and seeing if it’s right for you! Some neat features: The RGB lights are nice to look at. I don’t think there’s a way to turn them off, but they really aren’t too bright or distracting. They’re nice colors and fade into one another. I like it. The pop filter works pretty well, and is very sturdy on the mic. Once you place it on there, it’s not going anywhere. And the sound itself is actually better than I expected! Especially post-processing, the quality actually can come out pretty professional-sounding! The build quality is pretty good as well! The unit doesn’t feel like it’ll fall apart, and the desktop stand is metal and holds the microphone well (something I can’t say for my last microphone LOL). The microphone is a Cardioid Condenser microphone, if that’s something that’s important to you. I think for what I need it for, it works just fine. Just keep that in mind, if you’re using it for let’s say a podcast? It can only clearly record one person at a time since the device records the best sound with whatever’s in front of it. But if you’re working solo, I’d say this is a good entry-level mic! Simple to use, just a plug-and-play. I’d absolutely recommend it!

Quality & overall performance
I had ordered this mic as a substitute for ordering a new headset, but I opted to order a new one instead because my headset did not have any significant issues. I have come across this microphone. It is a cheaper alternative than others I’ve seen, and it still works just as well; my voice is crisper than before. I have received the product and have been using it since its arrival. It is worth the money and convenient because of its size, and it can be easy to pack if I’d like to travel with it. If anyone would like a quick, easy-to-assemble, convenient microphone, this is the one to go to!

Removes the popping and wet mouth syndrome
This is by far the best recording mic I’ve used. It removes the popping from my voice recordings. Additionally this mic removes the “wet” sound from my near constant cotton mouth to overly hydrated.The base is sufficiently heavy and durable which should keep the mic from moving or falling over.The lights make ease of use pretty easy.Lights on = Mic onLights off = Mic offIt’s fairly versatile as well with the headphones plugin option on the front. WOW!!
I purchased this to use at work. I got tired of wearing a headset all day (and I don’t know about you all, but I don’t want that headset indent on my head haha), but being a remote trainer, I very much needed the ability to communicate with my classes still.This microphone was a STEAL!! The cost, the sound quality, the appearance and ease of use- I cannot stress just how amazing of a product this turned out to be. I use them with a simple pair of wired earbuds I got for $8 and I swear, I sound like I have some $800 twitch streamer microphone going on. It has fantastic noise cancelation, and crisp audio recording. I have recommended it to a number of my sales agents and friends alike.I’ll update if anything changes, but in the meantime, I have zero regrets!

Shipping was quicker than estimated and I was so eager to try it out. First of all, the finish and the look of the mic are in better quality than I expected. The pictures showing in amazon look a bit bulky and dull. The real thing looks quite cool and kind of sophisticated. The mic is still mostly plastic, but it doesnât feel cheap. Letâs face it, these days for devices and gadgets like this, look matters a lot particular for younger generation.The mic picks up vocal nicely and clearly for recording and online meeting. I believe this has something to do with its directional mic, so other smaller sound around is mostly filtered to minimum. It will still pick up bigger sound like a knock on desk though. Just happened I had a friend (amateur singer) visiting when I tested it, so she opened up her song recording software and did a quick testing too. She was surprised it can pick up her âvocal fryâ skill decently. Many of her more professional mics can do this for sure and even better; but she was surprised with just a $40 mic.I also tried out the color changing effect for gamers. Frankly, I donât care much myself, and I will not use it during online meeting or for own recording purpose. But again, it looks and feels cool, and thatâs all gamers want to be I guess. I took two simulated gaming experience pictures here, and itâs indeed beautiful and you can imagine how special kids feel playing game or youtubing with this with their friends. Tips: The manual doesnât mention, but I found out by touching and holding the top button for 2 seconds, you can toggle between color changing effect, and solid deep blue (not glaring at all) for the light.I really like the big volume adjusting knob (itâs actually not a knob but the whole bottom part of the mic). It comes very handy, easy and quick to use when you need to adjust volume on the fly immediately. Tips: I suggest to first adjust the mic input level to 100% in Windows (under sound control panel, Recording, then double click this mic). This way the knob on the bottom of the mic can stay somewhere in the middle of its full rotation, so it has room to increase/decrease the volume quickly when needed. The mute/off touch button on the top is also handy, like if things go wrong during a live broadcastâ¦..lol. The light (either color changing or solid deep blue) acts as a mic-on indicator so you can tell easily. The included cable is long enough to run for normal desktop set up (itâs actually too long for me so I use my own cable. Itâs just a regular USB-C with data transfer). I am not very sure about the metal screen included, I recorded to my satisfaction even without attaching it. But at least it may look cool with it on I guess. The manual language is a bit confusing to understand at first read. But with the mic in hand and plugged in, everyone should have no problem to figure out with the same basic Windows sound setting that we have been using for many years. After all, itâs just a simple plug and play device.I donât have much knowledge on mic spec and numbers. But after I did a quick search, seems like this mic is good enough to cover different uses decently. Itâs a good all-rounder mic at a very low price. You canât go wrong with this. I am very happy with this purchase!

I bought this microphone for multiple use for my gaming, podcasts and general use to keep up with family and friends via zoom etc. It seamlessly connects up to all these platforms with ease on my computer via the standard USB-C port.I was surprized at how crisp and clear it sounds/records it also has a 3.5 mm jack for earphones at the front so I can make adjustments in time when recording which is useful.It sounds really great because it uses directional audio capture technology which captures sound from the front while minimising noises from the sides and rear which makes for lovely vocals from the front. The pop filter is easily detachable and fixed back on easy.I really love the RGB gradient lighting effects which are also changeable to a nice sky blue or mute which makes the lights go out, and thereby the mic off as well, just by a light touch on the top, which is nice and handy.It’s really easy to set up but I’d recommend unscrewing the base plate first, which makes it easy to screw in the circular metal tubing of the stand into the upper part of the mic frame, which just makes it less cumbersome whilst setting it up, then base plate back on. It has a soft rubber underneath to it which help protect your surfaces if it rests upon glass or marble. It has a nice long 180 cm lead to it which is plenty to get it attached to my computer.The sound control is on the underside and with it set in the middle on the dial, it’s easily tweakable for the volume to go up or down from there to suit your needs.This microphone is best suited for recording one’s own voice. It really just perfectly suits my all-round multimedia needs very well.It’s definitely up there in regards to sound quality and the price is superb too!It comes with a 36th month warranty which attests to it’s quality engineering, which is reassuring.I’m very happy with it overall.
