Great Laptop for the price
The laptop is very good, the screen is stunning with perfect blacks and could get up to 617 nits for mine on hdr on. The keyboard is pretty decent definitely on the soft side and decent key travel. The laptop is surprisingly light and battery could hold about 6 hours on moderate use like youtube and 7+ hours on light use like browsing. The aspect ratio of the screen is perfect 16 inch is just perfect on 16:10 you will feel somehow like a 17 inch screen without sacrificing portability since it still fits on my small bag so pretty decent. The speakers are loud but lacks bass very much and might sound a bit irritating on high frequencys, definitely sounds a bit thin. But overall very good performance on all sides and the cooling is phenomenal i got 50 degrees ish average on rainbow six siege on 3840 x 2400 high and average 60fps with vsync set to 1 frame so definitely cool to play games amazing machine but drawbacks are on the speaker thats about it, the rest is very well made even the flex on the keyboard is very minimal i cant even seem to flex it unless you apply a really heavy force so robust build quality

One USB port, many issues
Onedrive and windows defender take up about 60% of the available memory of this laptop, and defender is impossible to uninstall… Because it’s a Microsoft virus. That leaves a whopping 40% memory available for actual tasks. The computer has ONE USB port, and it is located in the back of the laptop, making it annoying and difficult to change out. And if you need to plug into a silhouette or cricut, now you can’t use a mouse. The touchpad frequently freezes as well, so if you remove the USB mouse to switch to say a silhouette USB, now you don’t have a mouse at all, unless you want to restart the laptop.
In addition, the battery life is terrible, even on power saving mode. Just using Google docs and a couple windows on brave browser, I got about 2.5-3 hours of battery life.
Because OneDrive (which I deleted) and defender take so much memory, all other applications run slowly…
Then there are the compatibility issues… The font of all program windows remained super tiny, despite changing font size and display ratio…
On the plus side, the screen is beautiful and very crisp.
I would only recommend this to people who do not need to use multiple programs at once, and only need it to watch YouTube and send some emails.
Its also very lightweight, but slippery on the bottom… I would really suggest affixing some sort of rubber on the bottom.
Other than that, it’s worthless. Do not expect to get any work done quickly or efficiently.
Overall, a headache for me. Sending back!

Well built laptop, but with some flaws
Bought this laptop because it’s one of the few models available with latest 40 series Nvidia GPU. The mechanical and anesthetics of the laptop is pretty good, high precision, full solid metal body, lightweight and comfortable to hold. The OLED 16:10 4k screen is amazing, one of the best you can buy atm. The fan noise is ok under light load, comparable to a macbook. Ports are plenty, case is easy to open, and it has 2 mem slots / 2 ssd slots for upgrade.
But it also has several flaws: 1) Crappy trackpad clicks, feels loud and hollow, so much that I really want avoid clicking on it. What a pity. 2) Speakers not very good, sound cheap and no depth. Although this is a thin and light laptop, the speakers on ipad / iphone sound better, let alone macbook. 3) Crappy software, not very easy to use and freeze / crash all the time, feel half baked. And some bloatwares that I need uninstall.
Overall still a good laptop for everyday work and gaming. Will see how it holds up long term.
Update:
Regarding charging with USB-C / PD, it requires 60W+ USB-C charger, which means the macbook 13’s charger won’t work, but macbook 16’s 85W / 96W USB-C charger can change it. However, when charging by USB-C, the video card will be throttled and very slow in video games. So you still have to bring the heavy power brick for games.
