    Great board, great price
Excellent board. My only (very minor) complaint is that the ram slots are a little too close to the CPU socket so the fan on my CPU cooler had to be adjusted to sit a little higher than I would’ve liked. But, that’s really more on me for not checking measurements before buying the cooler. Won’t even be an issue if you’re using an AIO or stock cooler. Will need a BIOS update for 5000 series CPUs, so make sure you download an updated BIOS version to a flash drive prior to starting your build. The board supports Q flash, so you can even update without having to boot to the BIOS.The board has an orange light along the back of the IO. It looks cool, but if you’re anti-RGB like me you’ll be happy to know that you can turn that off in the BIOS.Overall really good board. If you’re wondering if this is the one, it is.

    Very good for a homelab
I used this motherboard to build my homelab, everything I wanted just works, IOMMU groups are fine if you use an ACL patched kernel, you can control the RGB under GNU/Linux, it keeps my m.2 drives on good temperatures… It’s been running 24/7 without any issue. I love it that it has many pcie ports as I installed a 4 nic card and I’ll get a second GPU in the future

    Nice mobo…
I got this to throw onto a Hydra Mini chassis build. I am running a Ryzen 3600 with a Scythe Big Shuriken 3, GTX 1080 Founders, G.SKILL Trident Z Neo F4-3600C16D-32GTZN, Samsung 790 EVO PLUS, Samsung 970 EVO, and a Corsair SF600 PSU. Everything went together good.I obviously don’t need front panel C with a Hydra Mini so this worked out great for me. I updated to the F2a UEFI update before even trying to install windows. When I turned on above 4g decoding in the UEFI I lost everything connected to the chipset in Windows. Oddly enough I just had this happen on my Asrock Taichi Ultimate with the latest update on it too. I’m thinking there must be a bug in the latest code from AMD because I’ve always used that setting in the past. Once I turned it off both systems ran normally with all devices detected.Another thing that hung me up for a minute was the M.2 mounting on the front. I took the cover and heatsink off and at first, couldn’t figure out why the drive wouldn’t lay flat. The post was too high and I was thinking does this thing have to be pushed down beside it then the heatsink put on? After closer examination, I noticed that the top part of the post unscrews and then you put the drive in and screw that down over the drive, then lay the heatsink down and screw it in, and then reattach the cover over all of it. Also, be careful because the heads and threads look and feel easy to strip.I’ve been running for a couple of days now with no problems and so far would recommend this board. I plan to install one of the next series of Ryzen CPUs and whatever the best upcoming GPU turns out to be. I’ll be sure to come back and update if I have any problems.

    Decent but not perfect
worked for a SFF living room gaming build. Plopped it in a silverstone raven with a 5600x and gigabyte 6700xt eagle.Overall it works good, the bios didnt need an update which was nice. the XMP/AMP profile was recognized and runs mushkin redline stilleto’s just fine at advertised 3600mhz.AMD PBO works great, ran Ryzen Master, set oversets to +2 over everything it recommended so -28 except on top 2 cores at -25 and havent had any stability issues. Was really hoping bluetooth would just work but it doesnt. Maybe bios update might fix it, or it mess up all my other settings so I opted for a $20 asus BT dongle which works fine, just means I have to have front usb cover opened on my very sleek case.WIFI does work great though. My other minor gripe is the labeling of the front I/O pins and a lack of instructions. I wish they just provided a quick single plug solution instead of trying to seat the single connectors in very tight spaces.Overall very happy with it and its got my wife gaming from the comfort of our living room chaise.

Everything about it demonstrates quality and thoughtful design.A service call regarding a screw for an SSD heat sink was remarkable. More than a week after the initial request I was told they required the serial number. I located the serial number as per support documents on the Gigabyte site. I was informed that what I submitted was not the serial number and the format was incorrect (it has the same format as shown on their site). There are no other numbers. Why would a serial number be required to specify the screw type required for such a standard motherboard?

The goods:1. Back panel shield is integrated to the board! Handy!2. Backside (the other side that CPU and RAM mounts) has protective plate! Even better!3. RAM slot is 2 latch model. Much easier to install than ASUS B550I!4. ITX board! Yet has 2 chassis fan controllers there.Bads:1. Accessories are a bit lacking. But who installs multiple SATA drives these days? Especially on ITX builds?2. VRM Heat sinks are too thick. Be Quiet! Shadow Rock LP does not fit unless your memory module has low height. Gigabyte B450I was able to accept the cooler with VRM covering orientation. –> Some cases may have problem if you wish to install 240 AIO radiator on the top ventilation set up.3. Outer chunk of the front side M.2 SSD heat sink is not really functional. Additional thermal tape would be needed for it to be actually functional. This is very nice chunky metal piece.4. No front side USB-C type connector. Not a problem if your case do not have USB-C port anyway. But it could be a bummer for some cases.5. No dedicated PWM port for AIO cooler pump control.6. No AURA 5V RGB sync header… but this isn’t an ASUS board.Remarks1. Mine came with 2022 BIOS. But Gigabyte have most recent 2023 bios on their product web site.2. Board title appears perfectly on Linux! Did not expect this!3. No WiFi/Bluetooth instability yet. Pop! OS 22.04. Kernel 6.24. One of the chassis PWM connector is rather very small JST type small pin socket rather than typical 4 pin connector. You have to use the converter cable that comes with the board.
